Abstract
PURPOSE: To dilute cleanser in small amount of fresh water into clothes to be washed for short time intermittently dehydrating the clothes immediately after washing step and supplying shower water into inertially turning water in a washing and dehydrating tank.
CONSTITUTION: When a washing step is finished and washing water in an outer tank 2 is drained to less than predetermined level, preliminary dehydrating step starts in a fully automatic washing machine. When a washing and dehydrating tank 4 gradually accelerates its rotation to approach approx 900 rpm, a motor 6 is deenergized to inertially rotate. When a water supply valve 19 is opened during the inertial rotation and fresh water is supplied from a shower water supply port 22 to abruptly decelerate the rotation of the tank 4 by the braking action due to the increase of supplied water in inertial weight to predetermined value, the motor 6 is again intermittently driven to gradually accelerate the rotation of the tank 4. Since only small amount f bubbles are generated between the tank 2 and the tank 4, washing water is smoothly drained externally through the drain port 14. Thus, it can reduce the centrifugal force to the clothes to be washed during the inertial rotation to easily immerse the shower water ito the clothes to effectively remove the cleanser from the clotes.
