Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve detergent and frothing action of a detergent composition without adding a phosphate, by blending an α-olefin sulfonate and a secondary alkanesulfonate in a specific ratio and by converting not less than 40 wt.% of the surfactants into magnesium salts.
CONSTITUTION: A detergent composition consisting of A) a 10W20C α-olefin sulfonate (preferably consisting of an alkenlysulfonate and a hydroxyalkanesulfonate in a weight ratio of 50:50W80:20) and B) a 10W18C secondary alkanesulfonate in a weight of A to B of 95:5W40:60, wherein at least 40 wt.% of the surfactants are converted into magnesium salts.
USE: Detergents for a kitchen, clothes, and a generl purpose.
