Abstract
PURPOSE: A heavy-duty detergent composition having high calcium ion sequestering ability and improved resistance to hard water with small content of a phosphate, comprising a mixture of specific water-soluble alkali metallic phosphate consisting mainly of a pyrophosphate and an anionic surface active agent.
CONSTITUTION: A composition comprising A) 5W15 wt.% of a mixture of a water- soluble alkali metallic phosphate containing a pyrophosphate as a main ingredient, 0.3W2.0 wt.% of a tripolyphosphate, and 2.0W4.0 wt.% of an orthophosphate and B) 10W30 wt.% of an anionic surface active agent, e.g., an α-olefin sulfonate having 12W22C, or a sulfate of a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether obtained by adding 1W5 moles on the average of ethylene oxide to an alcohol having 8W18C.
