CONSTITUTION:In an air bag operating circuit having a power supply 1, a power switch 2 such as, for example, a collision sensor 4 attached to a bumper, a collision sensor 5 attached, for example, onto a floor, and an ignition filament 6 in a series circuit, there are also provided an inspecting circuit composed of a sensor circuit 15 and a holding circuit 16, an air bag operation inhibiting circuit of a relay 3, and a warning circuit 17. If the circuits A and B are shorted due to mischief or the like, an alarm coours by a lamp 12 or the like when the switch 2 is closed, and the relay 3 is energized to maintain the relay contact 20 off so as to prevent an ignition current from flowing through the filament 6.
