Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the space factor of the coil within a slot when laminated iron plates are fitted and fixed on a rotary shaft, by increasing the inner diameter of the slot by cutting the walls thereof by the amount of inclination with respect to the shaft to widen it to a predetermined width.
CONSTITUTION: When a laminated core 14 comprising a lamination of core members 13 is fixed to a rotary shaft 2, the inner diameter of the slot 16 is increased by cutting the walls thereof by a width of ▵t, which is the amount of inclination of the slot 16 with respect to the rotary shaft 2, to cause the slot width to be a predetermined value T2 and then finish machining is carried out. When the core members 13 are stamped out, foreseeing that cutting by ▵t will be carried out, the slot 16 is formed to have a width of T1 = T2 - 2(▵t). Thus, the substantial space factor of the coil is increased and the return or the like on the inner side of the slot 16 produced during stamping is also cut so that the coil streaks can be prevented from occurring.
