Abstract

PURPOSE: To make up an unexpensive and simple system which includes a contactor, a moving element, an operating mechanism, a drive element, and a cam mechanism comprizing the first spirally grooved cam and the second grooved cam which places on a plane at right angles with the first cam.
CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical cam mechanism 6 fixed on a parallel shaft 2, including the first spirally groove cam 7a and the second deeper grooved cam 7b at right angles with the axis of the shaft 2, whose grooves succeed to each other. A moving element 9 idle to be connected to the parallel shaft 2 consists of an oscillator 10 and a lever 11 jointed with each other at right angles. The contactor 11c of the lever 11 is connected to the grooved cam 7a. The free end of the lever 11 is loaded with a spring 12 towards the direction at right angles with the shaft 2. Once a pedal is stepped on, those connected elements turn with the rotation of a chain 14a, the lever 14, and the oscillator 13 and the contactor 11c comes in contact with the grooved cam 7a and falls onto the grooved cam 7b.
