Abstract

PURPOSE: To make possible the production of fiber cores without breakage of fibers by containing the fibers into an interstitial pipe without giving bend to one or a plurality of optical fibers.
CONSTITUTION: A curved guide bar 53 is admitted into an interstitial pipe 2 and the inner side of the pipe 2 curve of that position is let to conform to the guie roll 52 to expand the interstitial portion 21. Optical fibers are drawn into this expanded part. Thereafter the interstitial portion 21 is reclosed by means of an adhesive agent or the like with a bonding device 54.
