Abstract

PURPOSE: To record perfectly continuous signals in an endless tape by temporarily recording the information to be recorded in another sheet in the case of reopening recording after having interrupted the same on the way of a track.

CONSTITUTION: When the information which has been interrupted of recording is recorded with a magnetic head 9 into another magnetic sheet 10, a counter device 4 counts the marks on the tape 1 with first, second detectors 3, 5 and the values thereof are led, together with the mark count number corresponding to the recording interruption position and the track number information at the recording interruption from first, second memory circuit 6, 8, to a control unit 15. The unit 15 compares the results of having made overall comparison of the mark number and mark count number of the tape 1 cycle of a third memory circuit 16 and the track number information, controls the number of revolutions of a capstan motor 17 with a servo circuit 18 and regulates the speed of the tape so that the count values of the circuit 6 and the device 4 coincide after the time corresponding to the ordinary loop 1 cycle of the tape 1 from the restarting of recording. Thereby, the endless tape is recorded with the perfectly continuous signals.
