Abstract

PURPOSE: To even the reach of blown-off air in a wide range by arranging automatic rocking louvers (which deflect the blow-off direction continuously) and a fan motor (capable of continuous change in its revolution number) at an air blow-off port and increasing the revolution number as the blow-off resistance on the louvers increases.
CONSTITUTION: Automatic rocking louvers 10 for continuous deflection of the blow- off direction are fitted at a blow-off port 3. A contact member 19a of a slide type variable resistor 19 is fixed on the front face of a cam holder 14b of the louvers 10, and is slid in association with the rocking of the cam holder 14b. With the contact member 19a at the left or the right side of the resistor 19, the resistance value is low and a fan motor 8 rotates at high speed, so that the blow-off air reaches a predetermined distance regardless of its impingement on the louvers 10. With the member 19a at the center of the resistor 19 and with the louvers 10 parallel with the front face, the fan motor 8 rotates at normal speed so as to even the reach of blown-off air.
