PURPOSE:To realize high-speed transmission with an interruption simplified in case of the transmission of both a large amount of continuous data and a small amount of discrete data mixed, by storing received data in a shift register and by controlling transmission and reception by a control part. CONSTITUTION:Transmission part 500 modulates and sends data to a transmission line, and reception part 501 demodulates the data to generate reception pulses. Here, the received data are stored in shift register 503 and control part 504 controls transmission and reception. Consequently, when a large amount of continuous data and a small amount of discrete data are both mixed and transmitted, the interruption is simplified and high-speed transmission can be made possible.
