Abstract
PURPOSE: To efficiently load and unload cargoes, by filling seawater into holds, by floating a cargo gear in the holds and by successively moving the cargo gear among the holds.
CONSTITUTION: A hatch cover 5 of a hold 3-2 and a lateral partition wall 4-1 are removed by means of a cargo gear 2, seawater is filled into holds 3-1 and 3-2 to float the cargo gear 2 and a winch 2-3 for cargo work or a winch 11 for mooring is operated under this condition. The cargo gear 2 can be moved into the hold 3-2. After its movement, a space between the holds 3-2 and 3-1 is partitioned by means of the lateral partition wall 4-1 once removed, and seawater in the hold 3-1 is discharged. A hatch cover 5 of a hold 3-3 and a lateral partition wall 4-2 are removed at the same time as said drainage, seawater is filled into the hold 3-3 and the cargo gear 2 is moved into the hold 3-3. The cargo gear 2 can be moved to a hold 3-4 at the backmost end by successively repeating this operation about the rest.
