Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a crack, caused by a stress of vibration, from generation in a blade, tenon and shroud, by inserting a metal shim, easy to provide a plastic deformation, into between the tenon and the shroud.
CONSTITUTION: After making an assembly with a metal shim 12 put intermediately between a tenon 4, provided at the point end of a blade 3, and a shroud 5, the shroud 5 is fixed to the blade 3 by means of caulking the tenon 4 to form it into the tenon-pattern. In the process of this caulking work, the tenon 4 is laterally widened as a height of the tenon 4 is made lower, and the metal shim 12, put between with the shroud 5, causes a plastic deformation by a compressive stress. Being the principle the volume is always kept constant in the plastic deformation, a deforming is going to be transferred from the area of bigger compressive force to that of smaller force, consequently, a trend of equalization is provided in accordance with the contact pressure applied between the tenon 4 and the shroud 5, thus capable of preventing an unevenness of the contact.
