Abstract

PURPOSE: To detect tape stopping of a tape recorder with a simple constitution by providing two idlers which are friction-engaged and letting a detector be actuated by these by way of a deviating force member which receives deviating force of one direction.
CONSTITUTION: As a moving member 22 moves, first and second idlers 14, 15 touch a take-up reel turntable 12 and flywheel 11. Then, the take-up reel turntable 12 rotates and reproduction of the tape is accomplished. When the tape reaches the terminal, the first idler 14 stops and the second idlers 15 continues revolution, thus producing a slip with a friction member 17. As a result, the energizing force to a detector 29 by the pin 24 of a friction plate 23 is lost to move the detector 29 which causes a lever 31 to turn and release the detection of a lock plate 33 by which the mechanism is so constituted as to engage automatic stopping. Since this eliminates the need for cam, wheel, etc., the entire part may be constituted in smaller size with less number of parts.
