Abstract
PURPOSE: To manufacture a composite container having improved appearance efficiently, by placing a flexible thin label to constitute the bottom and side wall of the container on a female mold which pressing it to a loading male mold, and by replacing the male mold with an injection male mold to injection mold rib parts.
CONSTITUTION: The label 5 is held at the tip of the label loading mold 2 via the suction hole 10 under vacuum, and the mold 2 is inserted into to bring the label 5 into close contact with the female mold 1 whine fitting the label 5 the outer surface of the mold 2 with the auxiliary inserting units 9 and 9 of the label quide unit 4. The suction holes 13 and 13 are then evacuated to release the vacuum of the suction hole 10, and the loading mold 2 is removed. The female mold 1 with the label 5 is moved under the injection molding make mold 3 to close the molds 1 and 3, and a molten resin is injected from the sprue 8 into the cavities 16 and 17 for forming the lower and upper ribs and into the cavity for forming a sidewall rib to integrate and cure the label and ribs, thus giving a composite container.
