Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the title unit by which corrosion can be inhibited effectively by attaching corrosion speed measuring probes to predetermined positions of condensation and water supply systems, and directly measuring each corrosion speed with a corrosion monitor to regulate the concn. of dissolved oxygen.
CONSTITUTION: Corrosion speed detecting probes 13,14,15,16 are attached to positions of condensation and water supply systems where temp. and velocity are different, and each corrosion speed is measured with corrosion monitor 17 connected to the probes. Computer 18 is set which sends a signal to dissolved oxygen injection regulator 19 so that the corrosion speed is controlled to below a predetermined value. As monitor 17, an electrochemical monitor is pref. used applying a polarization resistance method, coulostatic analysis, etc. When the corrosion speed is measured with monitor 17, a signal is sent from computer 18 to regulator 13, and regulation valve 20 is opened or closed to regulate the speed to below a predetermined value.
