Abstract

PURPOSE: To stably realize resistance value-voltage conversion by connecting the diode or tansistor which compensates the base-emitter voltage of an emitter follower circuit.
CONSTITUTION: In order to compensate the base-emitter voltage of a transistor 5 constituting an emitter-follower circuit, a diode 6 is connected in series to the thermistor 1 between the base and emitter of the transistor 5. The change of the voltage V1 from ambient temperatures from 30°C up to 80°C when the temperature at the measurement point is 200°F increases by 0.1V when there is no diode 6 or transistor 9 but in the case of the diode 6, it is merely a change of 0.05.
