Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent irregularity in contact between recording paper and an image carrier with the use of a simple construction and to elongate the lifetime of the image carrier by conveying the recording paper in a manner to change the pressures upon the respective ends of paired feed rollers.
CONSTITUTION: The one side end portion I of paired feed rollers 104, which is close to a first side 5a of such recording paper 5 as is fed with a delay between the fixing rollers 2 and 3 of a pressure fixer 1, is pushed by a higher pressure than that at the other end portion II. According to such construction, the feed of the recording paper 5 by the feed rollers 104 is made more at the first side 5a of the recording paper 5 than that at the second side 5b. When the recording paper subjected to such conveying force is fed into the paired fixing rollers 2 and 3, the both ends 5a and 5b of the paper 5 are bit substantially at the same timing by the fixing rollers. Thus, it is possible to prevent transfer irregularity and texture blotting.
