PURPOSE: To prepare highly pure title cpds., useful as intermediates for antibiotics, in high yield by reaction of 7-aminocephalosporanic acid having acyloxymethl, etc. at the 3-position with thiols in a non-aq. solvent in the presence of BF3,etc.
