Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare title compounds coveniently and in good yield from specific acrylic compounds by first protecting the active double bond by the Diels-Alder reaction with cyclopentadiene, converting the protected product to N-substd. acrylamide derivatives, and then eliminating the cyclopentadiene by thermal treatment.
