Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an easy-to-produce and high-yield ultrasonic transmitter-receiver which uses a piezoelectric vibrator of torus type in section polarized in a radial, i.e., thickness direction and radiates acoustic energy by the lengthwise vibrations of said vibrator.
