Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure the transmission characteristics of an optical fiber in a simple manner but at a high accuracy by overlapping the demodulated electric signals of the optically modulated waves at the inlet and outlet ends of the fiber according to the frequency mathod to deduce the group speed and the loss simultaneously from the resultant amplitude variation.
