Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a decrease of the reducing power of a reducing gas and thus prevent a decrease in reducing efficiency by feeding a hot gas which has cooled reduced iron in a shaft furnace for direct reduction of iron to a collector tube not to pass the hot gas through a reducing zone.
