PURPOSE: To recover large particle-sized carbonates of catalyst metals, Co and Mn contg contg. lottle impurities by continuously introducing a liquid obtd. by extracting conc. reaction mother liquor in the production of terephthalic acid with water and alkali carbonates into a precipitate-forming reaction region while specifying the pH value of the region and average retention time.
