Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain heat-resistant glass fibers which will not deteriorate at a high temperature of 1,000 deg.C or above, by immersing glass fibers in an inorganic strong acid to increase the silica content, and by treating them with an alkaline solution free from alkali metals, followed by heat-treating.
