Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture product described in the title, having excellent rake face wear resistance by coating the surface of a specific cemented carbide substrate with titanium oxycarbide of optional composition by the reaction of the substrate with Ti halogenide at a specific temp. in the presence of hydrogen, CO and/or CO2, or hydrocarbon in addition to the both.
