Abstract
PURPOSE:To automatically detect printing drop-out through discrimination of blank part and printed part and from the length in the advancing direction of the blank part by repeatedly scanning a strip form sheet printed with specified marks at repetitive patterns optically at a suitable angle to its advancing direction.
