As shown best in FIG. 8, the barrier portion 50 is preferably formed to have substantially the same thickness as the outer peripheral frame portion 5a of the filter holding frame 5. By doing so, the gap corresponding to the thickness of the filter holding frame 5 originally existing between the filter case 7 and the heat exchanger 11a can be effectively used, and the front and rear directions of each part at the position of the handle 34 of the filter case 7 can be used. This is because there is no need to affect the thickness dimension (see FIG. 5).

It is not surprising that the front panel 30 can be extended to the position of the barrier 50 instead of providing the barrier 50 in the filter holding frame 5. However, unlike the filter holding frame 5, the front panel 30 needs to be provided sufficiently separated from the heat exchanger 11a. This is because, as shown in FIG. 5, since the front panel 30 extends downward to the vicinity of the outlet 14, moisture condensed by cooling by the heat exchanger 11a is transmitted through the front panel 30 and the outlet 1
This is because it is necessary to prevent the liquid from flowing out of the line 4. Therefore, in the configuration in which the front panel 30 distant from the heat exchanger 11a is extended to the position of the barrier portion 50, the above-mentioned gap cannot be effectively used, and the opening 34a of the handle portion 34
The depth to which a finger can be put through becomes shallow.

Here, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the barrier portion 50 has openings 54 formed between the plurality of bars 52 to secure the flow of indoor air to the heat exchanger 11a. It has the structure which was done. It should be noted that a large number of openings 5 as shown in FIG.
A barrier 50A constituted by a lattice forming 6 may be provided. In this case, the opening 54 or 56 of the barrier 50 or 50A is formed in such a size that the fingertip of a person does not contact the heat exchanger 11a.

Next, the operation and effect of this embodiment having the above configuration will be described. According to the present embodiment,
Since the inside of the handle portion 34 provided in the filter case 7 is an opening 34a penetrating in the front-rear direction, the handle portion 34 can be completely grasped by hand. Further, since the filter holding frame 5 is provided with the barrier 50 interposed between the handle 34 of the filter case 7 and the heat exchanger 11a in a state where the filter case 7 is mounted, the filter 50 is provided by the barrier 50. The fingertip of the hand can be prevented from touching the heat exchanger when attaching / detaching the case 7.
