ス回路5が形成されて、このバイパス回路5内には、バ
イパス回路5を開閉できるバルブ8が設けられており、
このバルブ8の一端にはスプリング9が設けられている
とともに、他端側にはソレノイドバルブ11が連通接続
されて、ソレノイドバルブ11にはコントロールユニッ
ト12からの電気信号が入力されるように構成され、コ
ントロールユニット12には作動油の油温を検出する油
温センサー13が接続されたものとなっており、作動油
が低温の時には、セレクトレバーを運転者が操作して前
記マニュアルバルブ1が作動されても、作動油が低温で
粘性抵抗が大きく、回路2内に設けられたオリフィスを
通るのに時間がかかり、前進クラッチ3へ作動油が供給
されるのに時間がかかり過ぎ、運転者がPレンジからD
レンジにセレクトしてもクラッチが繋がらないことがあ
るため、そのような場合に、前記油温センサー13から
の検知信号によりコントロールユニット12はソレノイ
ドバルブ11へ信号を送り、これによりソレノイドバル
ブ11が作動されて前記バルブ8が開方向へ作動され、
これによりバイパス回路5が開かれて、バイパス回路5
を通り作動油が早期に前進クラッチ3へ供給されて、セ
レクト時のタイムラグをなくするように構成されてお
り、従来では、作動油の温度を検出する油温センサー1

れ、さらに迂回してバイパス回路5が設けられたものと
なっており、このバイパス回路5内に、バイパス回路5
を開閉できるバルブ8が配設されており、本例では、こ
のバルブ8には形状記憶合金製の形状記憶スプリング9
Aが設けられて、この形状記憶スプリング9Aのスプリ
ング力によりバルブ8を開閉できるように構成されてお
り、形状記憶スプリング9Aは作動油に浸された状態に
配設されており、例えば作動油が低温の時には、この低
温により形状記憶スプリング9Aの長さが変化して、こ
れによりバルブ8が開方向へ作動されてバイパス回路5
が開かれるように設定されている。なお、前記作動油回

回路4内にはオリフィス7a,7bが設けられている。

もクラッチが繋がらない状態となるが、本例では、作動
油が低温の時には前記形状記憶スプリング9Aが長さを
変化させて確実にバルブ8を開方向に作動させるため、
作動油の低温時においては作動油はバイパス回路5を通
り時間の遅れを少なくして早期に前進クラッチ3へ供給
されることとなり、そのため作動油の低温時にもセレク
トタイムラグが良好に改善されて、良好に前進クラッチ
3が繋がるものである。

にクラッチへ作動油を供給することができるものとな
り、作動油の低温時のセレクトタイムラグが良好に改善
されるとともに、従来のような温度センサーとかソレノ
イドバルブ等を廃止して、回路構成を簡略化させてコス
トを低減させることができる効果を有する。
