Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable passengers to pass their time pleasantly even in an elevator car which is closed space by forming a liquid flow-down space part for making liquid flow down from an upper part toward a lower part, in the elevator car, and circulating liquid from the lower part of this liquid flow-down space part to the upper part. SOLUTION: A pump 7 is installed under the floor of an elevator car 6, and piping is passed from the pump 7 to the upper part of the elevator car 6 to feed liquid such as water. This liquid is stored in a tank 9 on the car 6 and made to flow down from the tank 9 through a liquid flow-down space part 12 in the car 6, and the liquid is fed again to the underfloor pump 7 to circulate the liquid. In the case of a normal passenger elevator, a clearance is opened inside a side face panel 10 of the car 6 to install inner surface glass 11, and a space part 12 for allowing the liquid to flow down is formed between the side face panel 10 and the inner surface glass 11. The liquid 13 is made to flow down in this space part 12 so as to make design with the image of a waterfall.
