The ground terminal 1 is formed by bending a conductive metal material into a substantially T-shape. A ground portion 3 is provided at one end, and a wire connection portion 4 is provided at the other end. The grounding portion 3 is formed in a circular shape, and has a mounting hole 3A at the center thereof for mounting to a bolt (not shown). A part of the outer edge of the ground part 3 is connected to the connecting part 5.
Extends from the center of the connecting portion 5, and the wire connecting portion 4 extends in a direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the connecting portion 5. The electric wire connection part 4 includes an electric wire attachment piece 4A and a pair of electric wire guide walls 4B formed by bending both side edges of the electric wire attachment piece 4A. The wire guide wall 4B extends to the side of the wire mounting piece 4A at a slight distance from the connecting portion 5, and is located on the base side (the connecting portion 5) of the wire guide wall 4B.
On the other hand, electric wire caulking pieces 6 are protrudingly provided on the side (closer side). The pair of electric wire caulking pieces 6 are arranged at alternate positions along the length direction of the electric wire guide wall 4B, and caulk the covering WA portion of the electric wire W and crimp to the wire mounting piece 4A side. The core wire WB is connected to the wire connection portion 4 as necessary.
May be soldered.

Next, a structure for assembling the ground terminal 1, the cap 2, and the electric wire W according to the present embodiment will be described. First, a plurality of electric wires W from which the coatings WA of the distal end portions are peeled off are bundled, placed on the upper side of the electric wire attaching piece 4A, and caulked with the electric wire caulking piece 6. At this time, the electric wires W may be soldered in advance as necessary, or the electric wire W and the electric wire connection portion 4 may be soldered.

Next, the electric wire connection part 4 is inserted into the cap 2. At this time, since the wire connecting portion 4 and the connecting portion 5 are substantially perpendicular to each other, the insertion depth of the cap 2 is determined by the tip of the cap 2 abutting on the connecting portion 5. Next, the sealing material 7 is filled in the cap 2. The bottom of the cap 2 is placed downward, and the sealing material 7 is poured into the vicinity of the opening of the cap 2 and solidified. At this time, since the cap 2 has a bottomed shape, the sealing material 7 does not flow out from the lower opening even if the wire connecting portion 4 to which a plurality of wires W are attached is inserted. The waterproof structure at the connection part 4 is completed.
