Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for very effectively and easily pretreating a long paper roll before applied to a field, the roll being made by sticking unhulled rice aligned regularly and one by one between a couple of sheets by non-water soluble adhesive so as to lay it onto the field, so that there is promoted to prevail among farmers such a new rice cropping method which dispenses with transplanting of rice seedlings, prevents weeds from growing and raises the yield. SOLUTION: This method comprises; spraying e.g. a tepid water or water containing a water-soluble nutrient over paper sheets stuck with unhulled rice inside a straight standing paper roll 5 so that the water may run through the whole sheets before the paper roll 5 is laid onto a field (usually it corresponds to a transplanting of rice cropping), keeping the inside of the roll 5 moist for suitable number of days so as to previously set the unhulled rice inside the roll 5 in a sprouting state i.e., around budding state, and spreading the roll 5 onto the filed. Thus, the unhulled rice buds early and surely, there is prevented damages caused by birds which is feared in direct transplanting, and the period for paddies to bud and grow in the field is largely lessened.

2. Description of the Related Art First, the rice cultivation method which is the basis of the present invention will be briefly described. In this rice cultivation method, paddy is prepared by using a water-insoluble glue on two sheets of paper (a germination window is provided on the top paper). In the meantime, long papers stuck one by one at regular intervals in a sandwich form are spread over the fields to prevent weeds from forming, and at the same time, the state after germination of the paddy is as if the rice were cultivated by ordinary rice transplanting. In order to realize the same state as that of regularly planting seedlings at relatively short regular intervals, the interference effect has been eliminated as much as possible despite the fact that the number of seedlings per unit area of the field has increased significantly. Therefore, it is possible to significantly increase the yield of pesticide-free rice (or low). (Hereinafter, this is abbreviated as the Kato rice cultivation method for the sake of convenience only for the name of the inventor)

[0003] Since the Kato rice cultivation method is a direct sowing method, it is necessary to lay a paddy paddy on the rice field several weeks earlier in order to make the growing season in the rice field the same as in a normal rice planting method. Therefore, it has to be a cold early spring rice field with a still cold water temperature. However, the effect of water temperature on the germination of paddy is extremely large, and it takes a long time to germinate in the early spring temperature, not only the ungermination rate increases, but also in this rice cultivation method, the paddy is close to the surface of the rice field,
Since it is easy to be damaged by birds, it is desirable that the rice grows at the same time as the paddy field. In addition, in general, both in the case of normal direct sowing and in the case of making seedlings, the seeds to be sown are often immersed in warm water for a certain period of time and used in a germinated state before and after germination.
Therefore, when this is applied to Kato rice cultivation, the whole of the paddy-pasted paper is soaked in lukewarm water for two or three days to make it germinate, and then the roll is set for a long time. A method of laying a semi-wet one in a field was performed.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In order to allow a farmer to carry one or two people, the weight of the paddy-sticking paper is about 20 kg, and the winding length (long Paper width) is 1m ~
1.5 m and a wound diameter of 30 cm to 40 cm are appropriate, and are generally formed in this range. In order to ensure the germination of the paddy and to accelerate the germination in the field, immerse the wound in a lukewarm water bath for two or three days before laying it in the field, and then lay it in the field after draining it sufficiently. Is good. However, this requires the creation of a water tank for winding and immersion. First, for example, when using a hot water bath in which several windings are immersed at once, since the hot water cools in a few hours, even if you first put 40 ° C hot water in the hot water bath,
Although it depends on the surrounding conditions (the temperature range that has a favorable effect on germination is 25 ° C to 35 ° C), in early spring, the temperature falls to 25 ° C or less in a few hours, so the hot water is replaced a few times a day. Need, and the costs and effort are not negligible. In addition, we considered a cylindrical vertical bath that could fit a single winding, but even if the purchase cost of the vertical bath would not have been significant due to mass production, it was per unit (10 are = 1,000 m 2 ). Since several windings are used, the average paddy area of the second-class part-time farmers and subsistence farmers, which currently account for about 80% of Japanese farmers, is even 3 to 5 yards. If used once in the early spring, it must be stored until the following year, and its storage space is also wasted.

The object has been achieved by the method of the present invention. In other words, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the wrapping paper wrapping the outside of the winding (made longer than the winding width, and both ends of the winding The top of the paper core, which is folded into the paper tube in the center)
Pull out from the paper tube and stand up. Put the lukewarm water of about 40 ° C into a paddle like a jug into the paddy sticking paper that is rolled up hundreds of times between the paper tube and the wrapping paper in the center. And pour it as evenly as possible so that it goes all over,
Stop when excess hot water leaks from the lower end of the winding. Hot water is poured every few hours thereafter, and on the next day, the same operation is repeated with the winding upside down. Under the first flow of water, the winding is almost completely wet, so that from the second time, the hot water is slightly leaked from the lower end of the winding. However, it is more effective to pour hot water for a while until the inside warms up. In this way, the amount of hot water is kept to a minimum, the labor is small, and no wasteful space is required, and the paddy in the winding can be sprout in a few days. Has been confirmed. When applying lukewarm water, it is more effective to mix useful microorganisms culture water, which is used for organic cultivation, etc., into the hot water near the end of the run.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a state in which the upper end 3 of the winding in FIG. 1- (1) is pulled out of the paper tube 4 by the method of the present invention, and lukewarm water is poured from above through the jug 11. It is. In FIG. 2, if the lukewarm water of about 40 ° C. placed in the jug 11 is applied evenly over the paddy-sticking paper roll 5, the hot water gradually permeates into the roll. Generally, the paper winding is hard-wound because if it is not stiff, the paper will lose its shape during transportation. Therefore, even if such winding is set up and hot water is poured from above, the space inside the winding is extremely small, so that almost no water flows down, and it is impossible to evenly wet the inside of the winding.

[0007] However, in the case of this padded rice paper, it is impossible to wrap it tightly because of the paddy, and even if it is rolled a little loosely, it is hindered by the unevenness of the padded rice pad. There is no loosening. The surface paper 12 in the two pieces of paddy pasted paper used is mainly paper having a certain degree of water resistance, such as unbleached kraft paper for heavy bags. Is more water-resistant than toilet paper, such as kitchen towel single-sheet paper, but paper that has moderate water absorption for towel use is used, so the backside paper has a very strong water retention once wetted, At least for a few hours after wetting, the paddy can be continuously rehydrated. Therefore, the germination of the paddy can be promoted by a simple work with little labor, such as applying lukewarm water in a jug three or four times a day. In addition, germination of paddy requires oxygen in addition to a high water temperature within a moderate range, and therefore, the method of the present invention supplies hot water at an appropriate temperature three or four times a day and simultaneously touches the air. Since the water in the winding is made uniform by reversing the winding up and down,
It became clear that it was possible to promote the germination of paddy in the winding in a short period of time, which is almost the same as immersing the winding in warm water.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION JP-A-8-214715 and JP-A-8-214715
The so-called Kato-type rice cultivation method according to the invention of 275683, which is a so-called Kato-type rice cultivation method, has a good pretreatment for accelerating germination of paddy because of the direct sowing method as described above. Preparing the rice with water beforehand is not only to speed up the germination of the paddy, but also to lay the paddy paper on the rice paddy. The sedimentation of the rice is accelerated, and the settlement of the paper on the rice field is accelerated, and the subsequent rice cultivation proceeds smoothly. For this purpose, the rice pickling paper winding in water is an indispensable method for spreading this method to rice fields. However, for the water-soaking treatment of the winding, no other method was found until now, except for the method of soaking the winding directly in lukewarm water. The drawback of the method of the present invention was that it was a concern from the beginning that, because of the lack of water compared to immersion in a water tank, it took an extremely long time to germinate, and therefore the variation in germination as a whole was too large. It was not. Fortunately, in addition to moisture, oxygen is also an important factor in the germination of rice seeds. Therefore, in the method of the present invention, the disadvantage of lack of moisture compared to immersion in a water tank is that However, although the shape was compensated for by the good effect, and although it was extremely simple as compared with the water bath immersion method, substantially the same effect as the water bath immersion method could be obtained. As described above, since the present invention makes it easy to lay rice in a sprout state, it is possible to significantly reduce the growth period of seedlings and prevent bird damage (birds do not aim at germinated paddy). Therefore, according to the present invention, the effect of hastening the spread of the Kato-type rice cultivation method to general farmers was enhanced.
