Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.蒸発させる液体源17を準備するステップと、 前記蒸発させる液体源の上に凝縮表面14を配置するステップと、 蒸発した液体を前記凝縮表面14上で凝縮させるステップと、 実質的に毛細管現象の力のみを利用して、前記凝縮表面14から前記凝縮液を 除去するステップと、 前記凝縮液が液状である間に前記凝縮表面14から前記凝縮液を除去するステ ップと、を備えた混合物16から成分を分離する方法。 2.前記混合物16から液体を蒸発させるステップをさらに含む、請求の範囲 第1項に記載の方法。 3.前記凝縮液除去ステップが、前記混合物16から除去されたいかなる液体 も回収するステップを含む、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 4.前記配置ステップが、前記蒸発させる液体源の蒸発表面18から1mの範 囲内に前記凝縮表面14を配置するステップを含む、請求の範囲第1項に記載の 方法。 5.蒸発される液体源の役割を果たす混合物16から1つ以上の成分を除去す るために、成分分離システムで使用するための凝縮機構であって、 前記混合物から蒸発した液体を受けるように蒸発される液体源の上の高蒸気濃 度領域内に配置可能な凝縮表面14と、 前記凝縮表面上の前記凝縮された液体を前記混合物16から遠く離れるように 導くために前記凝縮表面14上に形成された複数の開口溝20と、を備えた凝縮 機構。 6.前記溝20が、コンカス・フィン不等式を満たす平行毛細管溝である、請 求の範囲第5項に記載の凝縮機構。 7.請求の範囲第5項に記載の凝縮機構と、 前記凝縮表面14上で前記混合物16から蒸発させた液体を凝縮させる手段と 、 前記凝縮された液体が液状である間に前記凝縮表面14から前記凝縮された液 体を除去する手段と、を備えた混合物から成分を分離する装置。 8.前記凝縮表面14が、2m未満の長さを有し、前記コンカス・フィン不等 式を満たす、請求の範囲第7項に記載の装置。 9.前記凝縮液除去手段が、前記凝縮表面14に接触する縁プレート22を少 なくとも1つ含む、請求の範囲第7項に記載の装置。 10.伝熱流体を収容するための通路を含み、混合物16の上に配置された凝 縮プレート12をさらに備え、前記凝縮表面14が前記凝縮プレート12の一部 である、請求の範囲第7項に記載の装置。
