Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 入力画像をリサイズする方法であって、 (a)入力画像に対して離散コサイン変換(DCT)を行い、複数のDCT係 数を生成するステップと、 (b)前記複数のDCT係数を操作して、前記入力画像のフィルタリングを行 うステップと、 (c)この操作済DCT係数に対して逆離散コサイン変換(IDCT)を行い 、前記入力画像のリサイズ画像を生成するステップと、 を備える方法。 2. 前記操作ステップ(b)は、前記入力画像のサンプリングを更に行う、請 求項1記載の方法。 3. 前記操作ステップ(b)は、 (b1)前記複数のDCT係数をフィルタリングするステップと、 (b2)この複数のフィルタリング済DCT係数をダウンサンプリングするス テップと、 を備えている、請求項2記載の方法。 4. 前記フィルタリングステップ(b1)は、(b11)前記複数のDCT係 数に2次元低域フィルタ・ライト・ハーフの複数の変換係数をポイントワイズ乗 算するステップを備えており、 前記ダウンサンプリングステップ(b2)は、(b21)前記複数のフィルタ リング済DCT係数を両次元において折り返してポイントワイズ減算を行うステ ップを備えている、請求項3記載の方法。 5. 前記操作ステップ(b)は、 (b1)前記複数のDCT係数をアップサンプリングするステップと、 (b2)この複数のサンプリング済DCT係数をフィルタリングするステップ と、 を備えている、請求項2記載の方法。 6. 前記アップサンプリングステップ(b1)は、(b11)二つの次元にお いて前記複数のDCT係数を拡張するステップを備えており、 前記フィルタリングステップ(b2)は、(b21)前記複数のサンプリング 済DCT係数に二次元低域フィルタ・ライト・ハーフの複数の変換係数をポイン トワイズ乗算するステップを備えている、請求項5記載の方法。 7. 入力画像をリサイズする装置であって、 入力画像に対して離散コサイン変換(DCT)を行い、複数のDCT係数を生 成する第1の変換手段と、 前記第1変換手段に結合され、前記複数のDCT係数を操作して前記入力画像 のサンプリングを行う操作手段と、 前記操作手段に結合され、前記操作済DCT係数に対して逆離散コサイン変換 (IDCT)を行い、前記入力画像のリサイズ画像を生成する第2の変換手段と 、を備える装置。 8. 前記操作手段は、前記入力画像のフィルタリングを更に行う、請求項7記 載の装置。 9. 前記操作手段は、 前記複数のDCT係数に二次元低域フィルタ・ライト・ハーフの複数の変換係 数をポイントワイズ乗算することにより前記複数のDCT係数をフィルタリング するフィルタリング手段と、 前記フィルタリング手段に結合され、両次元において前記複数のフィルタリン グ済DCT係数を折り返してポイントワイズ減算を行うことにより前記複数のフ ィルタリング済DCT係数をサンプリングするサンプリング手段と、 を備えている、請求項8記載の装置。
