Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.光信号受信機であって、 光信号を第1の電子信号に変換するための変換手段と; 該第1の電子信号に応答してアップ変換した電子信号を出力するように動作時 にされているアップ変換手段と; 該アップ変換した電子信号に応答して増幅した電子信号を出力するように動作 時にされている増幅器手段と; 該増幅した電子信号に応答してダウン変換した電子信号を出力するように動作 時にされているダウン変換手段とで成る光信号受信機。 2.前記アップ変換手段は、前記第1の電子信号と所定周波数の第1のキャリ ヤ信号とを入力し、かつこれらの信号を混合して前記アップ変換した信号を送出 するように動作時にされている第1の周波数ミキサを含む請求項1記載の受信機 。 3.前記ダウン変換手段は、前記増幅した電子信号と前記キャリヤ信号とを入 力し、かつこれら信号を混合して前記ダウン変換した電子信号を送出するように 動作時にされている第2の周波数ミキサを含む請求項1又は2記載の受信機。 4.さらに、前記キャリヤ信号を送出するように動作時にされている発振器を 含む請求項2又は3記載の受信機。 5.さらに、前記ダウン変換した電子信号を入力し、かつ合理化されたディジ タル信号を出力するようにされた信号リミッタを含む請求項1ないし4のいずれ か1項記載の受信機。 6.さらに、前記第1の電子信号を入力し、かつ第1のフィルタにかけた電子 信号を前記アップ変換手段に向けて出力するように動作時にされている第1のフ ィルタを含む請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項記載の受信機。 7.さらに、前記ダウン変換した信号を入力し、フィルタにかけたダウン変換 した信号を出力し、かつ前記信号リミッタによって作られた雑音と帯域外高調波 を縮減するために効果あるようにするよう動作時にされている中間フィルタを含 む請求項5又は6記載の受信機。 8.さらに、出力フィルタ手段と; 前記中間フィルタ手段と出力フィルタ手段との間に置かれて前記中間及び出力 フィルタを絶縁するための出力増幅器手段とを含み; 該出力増幅器は前記ダウン変換した信号に応答して増幅されたディジタル信号 を出力するように動作時にされており、 また該出力フィルタ手段は、該出力ディジタル信号に応答して、強化されたダ ウン変換した出力信号を送出するためにオーバーシュートを導入するのに効果が あるものである請求項7記載の受信機。 9.さらに、前記ダウン変換した信号に応答して、強化されたダウン変換した 信号を送出するためにオーバーシュートを導入するのに有効な出力フィルタ手段 を含む請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項記載の受信機。 10.前記請求項1ないし9のいずれか1項記載の受信機と; 該受信機により出力された信号を光信号に変換するための変換手段とを含む光 信号中継器。 11.ディジタル光信号を増幅する方法であって、 該光信号を電子信号に変換する段階と; 該電子信号で所定の周波数を有するキャリヤ信号を変調する段階と; 該変調した信号を増幅する段階とを含むディジタル光信号を増幅する方法。 12.前記所定の周波数は前記電子信号の実質的な最高周波数成分よりも高いも のである請求項11記載のディジタル光信号を増幅する方法。 13.請求項12記載の方法と; ディジタル電子信号を再生するために前記増幅した変調信号を復調する段階と ; 該ディジタル電子信号の振幅を、上と下との限界間に制限する段階とを備えた ディジタル光信号を合理化する方法。 14.さらに、復調しかつ制限した電子信号を変換して合理化した光ディジタル 信号を送出する段階とを含む請求項13記載のディジタル光信号を合理化する方 法。
