Selective paging receiver in battery of two-way communication device
Field of the invention
The present invention relates generally to a selective call receiver, and more particularly, to a two-way communication device.

Background of the Invention
The advent of cellular phones has opened a new era of two-way mobile communications. However, the cell

There is no way to prevent it.
One attempt to solve this problem is to use cellular phones and selective call receivers (page

Can not. The limited power supply of the battery integrates the cellular telephone with the selective call receiver.
Is worse when both devices already have unduly short "talk times".
This is to impose high demands on the battery.

Input on most cellular phones still has a full phone keypad, so
, Cellular phone designers have found that large
There is little room for a built-in spray. The public is familiar with the phone keypad
This form factor is likely to continue because the stain is extremely deep. However,
The actual size of the talking circuit will be further reduced. Some cellular products are key
As the pad appears on the display and creates a virtual keypad,
Overcoming this size limitation by making the front of the Lula phone a display
. However, this feature allows the consumer to be familiar with the look and feel of a phone keypad.
And feel are gone.
Therefore, it increases the chances of missing a critical call or battery life of a cellular phone
There is a need for a method and apparatus to prevent unnecessary calls to cellular telephones without compromising
It is. Users can view the entire message with minimal keystrokes and scrolling
Removably attach to existing cellular phones to allow reading
The module is adapted
It would be desirable to provide a display device of the portable type. Cellular phone and battery
It would further be desirable to provide such a modular device for sharing.

When the cell phone 306 is coupled and connected to a cellular telephone, is the cellular telephone a selective call receiver?
Work independently. Therefore, the selective call receiver receives the page (selective call message)
While receiving a call, the cellular phone is available. In addition, even if the cellular phone is turned off
The selective call receiver can receive the selective call message.
As shown in FIG. 4, the battery 306 can be removed from the cellular phone,
This places the selective call receiver in a state where it can completely receive the selective call message.
You can disable the cellular phone while it is still on. Thus, the cellular phone battery
306 is powered by the cellular telephone battery 306 even when disconnected.
It operates as an independent selective call receiver. The battery housing 308 is

When detached from the cellular phone, it is separated from the cellular phone and becomes an independent unit.
Portable.
Thus, the battery of the cellular phone, including the selective call receiver, is
Separate and portable. The selective call receiver is activated even if the cellular telephone is turned off.
Can work. This allows the user to respond to messages received by the selective call receiver.

When the battery is charged, the selective calling receiver circuit can be removed and replaced.
As shown, the cellular telephone 702 and the selective call receiver 710 include a battery 70
4, both devices operate independently of each other, and therefore the cellular telephone 70
2 and selective call receiver 710 are available simultaneously and independently of each other.
In general, cellular telephones have a more limited coverage area than selective call receivers.

It can be carried as a knit. Thus, the battery to operate the cellular phone
Discharging below the required voltage level allows the battery to be disconnected from the cellular phone,
Can operate independently as a selective call receiver. In addition, disconnecting the cellular phone,
Battery current consumption is reduced, thereby increasing the battery life of the selective call receiver.
Add. Therefore, the cellular battery is a 6 volt battery and
The machine is 1. Since it requires only 5 volts, it can be stored in the cell phone battery.
Selective call receivers have extended battery life. As a result, cellular telephones
Even if the battery is discharged below the operating voltage level, Option requiring only 5 volts
The paging receiver can still operate for a long time.
Thus, a selective call receiver can receive a page when the cellular telephone is off.
In order to avoid indiscriminate calling, the cellular telephone can be carried in the off position. for that reason
The user can determine which call to return to from the number or the message. Sa
In addition, if the battery discharges below the voltage level to operate the cellular phone,
