Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sheet-like printed matter improved in water resistance and light resistance by inexpensively and easily printing a synthetic resin sheet such as vinyl plastic leather or a natural leather sheet with desired pattern(s) even in small number. SOLUTION: The surface of a sheet 1 such as natural leather sheet or a synthetic resin sheet is provided with an image-receiving coat 9 layer consisting mainly of a water-absorbing resin, and the surface of the coat 9 layer is then printed with an intended pattern using an ink jet printer, and then the printed surface 12, in turn, is provided with an ultraviolet light absorber-added transparent light and water-resistant resin 13 layer, thus obtaining the objective sheet- like printed matter.

2. Description of the Related Art Sheets made of synthetic resin used as wallpaper, accordion curtains, hanging curtains, signboards, or vinyl leather constituting bags, shoes, etc., are conventionally exclusively used for printing such as gravure printing, textile printing, and screen printing. The intended pattern was printed by law. Therefore, these printing methods require a roll-shaped or plate-shaped original plate, a screen, and the like, and there is a problem that it is not suitable for production of various kinds in small quantities because the pattern is not easily changed.

On the other hand, an ink jet printer (also referred to as a bubble jet printer) which has recently been widely used as a printer for personal computers ejects three primary colors and black aqueous ink from nozzles according to a command from a computer, as is well known. By attaching it to a paper surface, it is possible to print arbitrary image data such as initial patterns, figures, characters, and photographs.

Therefore, it is expected that a system suitable for various kinds of small-lot production can be obtained by using the above-mentioned ink jet printer when printing a pattern on the above synthetic resin sheet. The paper that can be used must absorb the water-soluble ink ejected from the nozzles promptly, and fix the color components, dyes and pigments, without diffusing to the surroundings on the paper surface. For this reason, clear printing cannot be performed on a synthetic resin sheet having no water absorption, and the ink flows when wet with water, so that the sheet is softened and swelled by the moisture in the air not only outdoors but also indoors. However, the use had to be very limited. Also, when printing on natural leather, there was the same problem as with synthetic resin sheets.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION A method of manufacturing a printed sheet according to the present invention is intended to solve the above-mentioned problems.
An image-receiving coating agent layer containing a water-absorbing resin as a main component is formed on the surface of a sheet such as a leather or synthetic resin sheet, and the desired pattern is printed on the surface of the image-receiving coating agent by an inkjet printer, and then the printing is performed. The surface is covered by forming a transparent light and water resistant resin layer to which an ultraviolet absorber is added.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a vinyl laser according to an embodiment of the present invention. 1 and 3, reference numeral 1 denotes a synthetic resin sheet obtained by laminating a soft polyvinyl chloride resin 3 on a base cloth 2, that is, a vinyl leather. The synthetic resin sheet 1 is provided on a resin tank 7. After being guided between the rolls 4 and 4, the primer 5 (urethane-based emulsion resin) is applied at about 10 g / m 2 as shown in FIG.
It is led to the drying chamber 6 and dried with hot air. This primer 5
This is to prevent repelling which is seen when an aqueous image-receiving coating agent is applied to the surface of the oil-based synthetic resin sheet 1 and to facilitate fixing of the image-receiving coating agent. When the fixing property (coating property) is good, the coating is not necessarily required.

Then, the synthetic resin sheet 1 is guided between rolls 8 provided on the next resin tank 14, and the surface of the synthetic resin sheet 1 is polyurethane-, polyvinyl-alcohol-, and poly-bratylal-based. Then, an image receiving coating agent 9 mainly containing a water-absorbing resin such as polyester is applied.
After the application, the synthetic resin sheet 1 is led to the drying chamber 15 to be dried once, and then the application and drying are repeated several times so that the image receiving coating agent 9 has a thickness of 40 to 1.
Apply until a layer of 20 g / m 2 is formed. In this image receiving coating agent 9, a porous inorganic substance such as silica or calcium carbonate in the form of fine powder is added as a filler for the purpose of improving printability, or a cationic resin is added for fixing the paint. Good to do.

Then, the synthetic resin sheet 1 is once wound up, and as shown in FIG. 2, the synthetic resin sheet 1 is passed through an ink jet printer 10, and the surface of the image receiving coating agent 9 layer of the synthetic resin sheet 1 is formed. Print the desired pattern on top. (Printed surface 12). Since the pattern on the printing surface 12 is controlled by image data read by the personal computer 11,
It can be easily changed only by changing the image data, and desired pictures, figures, characters and the like can be printed instantaneously. The water-based ink ejected from the nozzles of the printer 10 is adsorbed by the image receiving coating agent, so that a clear printing state without bleeding can be obtained.

On the printing surface 12, a light- and water-resistant transparent acrylic resin to which an ultraviolet absorber (in this case, a benzophenone-based ultraviolet absorber) is added is added to the printing surface 12 for 20 to 10 minutes.
By coating so as to form a layer of 0 g / m 2 , 13 layers of the light and water resistant resin are formed. Thereafter, by embossing the surface of the light- and water-resistant resin 13 layer, a finish equivalent to that of ordinary vinyl leather can be obtained.

As described above, by covering the printing surface 12 with the light- and water-resistant resin 13, even if water droplets or the like adhere to the surface, the water does not penetrate to the printing surface, so that the water-soluble ink does not spread. In addition, the fading of the light- and water-resistant resin 13 is prevented by the addition of the ultraviolet absorber, so that a good printing state can be maintained for a long period of time.

Although the above description has been made with reference to the synthetic resin sheet 1, the present invention can be applied to leather as well. In this embodiment, the image receiving coating agent 9 is applied to the synthetic resin sheet 1 by a roll, but such an application method is not necessarily required to form the image receiving coating agent layer. The same applies to the method of forming the 13 layers of the light- and water-resistant resin. The present invention is not limited to the example shown in this embodiment, but can adopt various embodiments depending on the application.
