Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cracks or a peeling from occurring and make the appearance presentable and increase the surface hardness by attaching a thin wood veneer to the surface of a base material plywood through a medium-density wood fiberboard and extending the edge part of a decorative coating film layer formed on the surface of the thin wood veneer so that the edge part covers the end face of the medium- density wood fiberboard. SOLUTION: A medium-density wood fiberboard(MDF board) 2 is interposed on the surface of a base material plywood 1 and then a thin wood veneer 3 is attached. Further, a decorative coating film layer 4 is formed on the surface of the thin wood veneer 3, and the edge part of the decorative coating film layer 4 is extended so that the edge part covers the edge face of the MDF board 2. In addition, a chamfered part 6 is formed on the front side corner edge of the MDF board 2, across the area from the thin wood veneer 3 to the board 2, and the edge part 5 of the decorative coating film layer 4 is extended so that the chamfered part 6 is covered. Thus it is possible to prevent the cracks of the decorative coating film layer 4 from occurring and thereby make it impact-resistant and also load-resistant. Besides, the MDF board 2 is hardly made stretchable and deformable, and the generation of cracks on the edge face and the peeling of the thin wood veneer 3 are prevented from occurring and further the coating finish is made to appear presentable.

Accordingly, in this case, the thin wooden veneer is adhered to the surface of the base material plywood via the MDF board, and the decorative coating layer is formed on the surface of the thin wooden veneer.
Since the surface hardness of the board is high, the decorative coating layer formed on the surface of the thin wooden veneer is hardly cracked, and has an impact resistance and a load resistance, so that it is optimal as a floor material. Moreover, since the edge of the decorative coating layer is extended so as to cover the end face of the MDF board, the MDF board is prevented from absorbing moisture from the end face, and is less likely to expand and contract. Generation and peeling of the thin wooden veneer are prevented, and the edge of the decorative coating layer is also covered up to the peripheral edge, so that the appearance of the finished paint is good.
