施例により、本発明の実施の形態について説明する。先
ず、図1乃至図5にて示す、本発明の第一の実施例につ
いて説明する。空気調和機を例に取り説明すると、図1
に示すように、空気調和機本体1に形成した吸込口2と
吹出口3とを結ぶ空気通路に、円筒状の送風ファン4
と、送風分布が均一になるように同送風ファン4を多角
形に折曲し疑似円弧状に取り囲んだフィンチューブ形熱
交換器5とを設けている。前記フィンチューブ形熱交換
器5は、図2に示すように、伸銅管等で作製され、平行
に折り返された一連の伝熱チューブ6と、同伝熱チュー
ブ6に対し直角に掛け渡され、アルミニウム板等で作製
された複数のフィン7とで構成されている。前記一連の
伝熱チューブ6に前記フィン7を掛け渡す方法として
は、図3に示すように、複数のU字状の伝熱チューブ6
aを前記フィン7の挿通孔に挿通した後、前記複数のU
字状の伝熱チューブ6aを、半円状の伝熱チューブ6b
で連結して一連の伝熱チューブ6とするという方法を用
いている。図4のフィンの要部展開図に示すように、前
記フィン7の一側縁である前縁8から他側縁である後縁
9にかけて前記フィン7の長手方向に対して直角に形成
された山折線10と、同山折線10に対し左右対称に形
成され前記前縁8から前記後縁9にかけて形成されたハ
の字状に開いた谷折線11、12とを折曲して、図5の
フィンの要部斜視図に示すように、前記前縁8から前記
後縁9にかけて高くなるよう山形状に曲げ起こされた折
曲部13を設けることにより、前記前縁8の長さより前
記後縁9の長さの方がより短くなり、前記フィン7は折
れ曲がる。同折曲部13を複数箇所に設けることによ
り、前記フィンチューブ形熱交換器5を疑似円弧状に形
成している。
