Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a plurality of equal or different checkered patterns on a wide cover surface by use of a basic pattern sheet which has one kind of pattern. SOLUTION: Unit patterns M1, M2... (differing in rectangle A of each step), in each of which rectangles A1, A2... each having a Y-axis width (y) and an X-axis width (x) are arranged in a number of steps along the direction of Y- axis, are arranged in a number of steps along time direction of the Y-axis to form a basic pattern sheet P on a base. The basic pattern sheet P is cut in the direction of the Y-axis into X-axis widths (s) to obtain a plurality of unit decorative members N. The unit decorative members N are arranged in a large number on a cover surface in such a way that the unit decorative members N deviate from one another by the Y-axis width (y) of the rectangle A or an integer multiple thereof in the direction of the Y-axis and adjoin to one another.

2. Description of the Related Art Building interior surfaces such as floors, walls, and ceilings include:
Usually, surface makeup is applied. If the desired makeup is a so-called checkered pattern, a square or rectangular tile (in addition to ceramics, wood or resin material) may be applied to the surface to be adhered with cement or an appropriate adhesive to form a pattern. That is often done. As another method, a checkerboard pattern is made in advance, and a decorative material on which a pattern is printed on a base material using the platemaking is attached to an adherend surface.

In the conventional method for obtaining a checkered pattern, the method of attaching tiles is troublesome, and it is not easy to construct each tile at a desired position without displacement. Requires skill. The method using printed matter is easy to construct without fear of misalignment, but can print only one kind of checkered pattern from one kind of plate. For this reason, the pattern of the interior surface tends to be monotonous, and if it is desired to obtain various types of checkerboard patterns in order to have changes, it is necessary to prepare a corresponding number of plates, which increases the cost of plate making. Also, a place for storing a large number of plates is required.

An object of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned inconvenience caused when forming a two-dimensionally arranged repetitive pattern (for example, a checkered pattern). Using a single basic pattern sheet having a certain repetition pattern prepared, a repetition pattern (checker pattern) of a single pattern or a plurality of different patterns can be easily formed on a wide covering surface. It is to provide a pattern forming method.

According to the present invention, there is provided a pattern forming method for forming a rectangular pattern A having a width y in the Y-axis direction and a width x in the X-axis direction on the substrate. The basic pattern sheet P is formed by arranging the unit patterns M (the pattern of the rectangular pattern A of each step is different) arranged in multiple steps in the Y-axis direction. Cutting in the Y-axis direction with the axial width s to produce a plurality of unit cosmetic materials N extending in the Y-axis direction, and dividing the unit cosmetic materials N by the Y-axis direction width y of the rectangular pattern A or an integral multiple thereof. Displaced in the Y-axis direction, and at least between adjacent unit decorative materials N, the same rectangular pattern portion is arranged so as not to be continuous in the X-axis direction, and is arranged adjacently on the covering surface. I do.

Next, as shown in FIG. 2, the basic pattern sheet P is cut in the X-axis direction width s in the Y-axis direction, and a plurality of unit decorative materials N (in this example, N1 in this example) extending in the Y-axis direction. To N5). Here, a broken line indicates a cutting line (a virtual line indicating a cutting portion or a scheduled portion thereof). Preferably, the width x in the X-axis direction of the basic pattern sheet P (that is, the width x in the X-axis direction of the rectangular pattern A) is set so as not to be an integral multiple of the width s in the X-axis direction of the unit decorative material N. . Thereby, after cutting out the required number (5 in this example) of the unit decorative materials N, a surplus of the width Δx is generated. By setting the width in which the surplus portion is generated as described above, it is possible to absorb the sum of the positional deviation errors at the time of cutting the unit decorative material N, so that a predetermined number of unit decorative materials N can be always obtained from one basic pattern sheet P. Obtainable. When a surplus of the width Δx finally occurs, even if it is discarded, waste of the material can be totally reduced.

The planned cutting line is formed on the surface of the basic pattern sheet P by Y.
It can also be provided in the axial direction. However, when an error in the cutting position occurs during cutting of the unit decorative material N, a cut line provided in advance may remain on the surface of the unit decorative material N, which impairs design. Therefore, it is preferable to cut out a predetermined width under the control of the cutting device without providing a planned cutting line on the surface of the basic pattern sheet P. The surplus of the width Δx described above effectively absorbs the cutting position error that tends to occur in such a case.

As described above, in the pattern forming method according to the present invention, the different rectangular patterns A,.
One unit pattern M is configured by arranging m stages in the axial direction, and an arbitrary number of units of the unit pattern M are further arranged in the Y-axis direction. It is possible to easily form at least m-1 checkered patterns on the covering surface. Thereby, the cost required to form a checkered pattern on the desired coated surface is also reduced.
