Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce the noise in high-speed traveling by constituting a bellows by use of an elastic body, and providing a smoothing member on a recessed part formed in an angle part at the vehicle mounting end of an air chamber for ensuring the rigidity of the elastic body. SOLUTION: This bellows has five independent cylindrical air chambers 4 curved and formed between rolling stocks 3a, 3b so as to conform to the circumference of the rolling stocks, and the outer surface forms substantially the same circumference as the circumference of the rolling stocks. By providing the air chambers 4 in the bellows, sufficient rigidity can be provided even in high-speed traveling to prevent the flapping, and a large displacement input can be satisfactorily absorbed in branching of a track. A smoothing part 8 is provided on a recessed part formed in an angle part at the rolling stock mounting end of the air chamber 4, whereby the noise generated in high-speed traveling can be more satisfactorily reduced.

2. Description of the Related Art Heretofore, an outer hood for a vehicle connecting portion to be attached to a connecting portion of a high-speed railway vehicle exceeding 300 km / h has not been put to practical use. However, today, high-speed railway vehicles, such as the Nozomi Shinkansen, have a speed of over 300 km / h, and the generation of wind noise when traveling at the connecting portion has become a problem. An outer hood for a vehicle connecting portion having a structure that covers the connecting portion has been proposed.

However, the outer hood for a vehicle connecting portion of a rubber-like elastic body which has been proposed up to now has a problem that flapping occurs due to lack of rigidity at the time of high-speed running, and rather becomes a noise generating source. There was a problem. In addition, a large displacement input is made at a branch point of the track of a high-speed railway vehicle, and the conventional outer hood for a vehicle connecting portion is not always sufficient for such input.

[0004] Therefore, the object of the present invention is to achieve a speed of 300 km / h.
Attached to the connection of high-speed railway vehicles that exceed the time, it is possible to effectively reduce noise during high-speed traveling,
Moreover, it is an object of the present invention to provide an outer top for a vehicle connecting portion which can favorably absorb a large displacement input at the time of branching of a track.

The present inventor has made intensive studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, and as a result, the outer hood for the vehicle connecting portion is formed of an elastic body so as to be able to follow the relative movement between the vehicle mountings. It has been found that by providing an air chamber to ensure rigidity even at high speed running, noise reduction at high speed running and good absorption of large displacement input at branching of the track can be obtained. The present inventors have found that by providing a smoothing member for smoothing the corner at the corner formed at the vehicle mounting end of the room, it is possible to further reduce the noise during high-speed running. The invention has been completed.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be specifically described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a cross-sectional structure when an outer hood 1 for a vehicle connecting portion, which is a preferred example of the present invention, is mounted on a connecting portion 2 of a railway vehicle. FIG. 2 shows a state where the outer hood 1 for a vehicle connecting portion is viewed from the side of the vehicle, and FIG. 3 shows an enlarged portion of A in FIG. As can be seen from FIGS. 1 to 3, the hood 1 is formed between the cars 3a and 3b with five independent cylindrical air chambers 4 curved so as to coincide with the outer periphery of the railway car. The surface 7 forms an outer circumference substantially the same as the outer circumference of the railway vehicle. Each of the air chambers 4 is connected in parallel. It is attached to the vehicle, for example, via attachment portions 5 of air chambers at both ends.

Unlike the case where the connecting portion is covered with a single sheet-shaped top, by providing the air chamber 4 in the top 1 as shown in the figure, sufficient rigidity can be obtained even during high-speed running, and the occurrence of flapping can be prevented. At the same time, it is possible to satisfactorily absorb a large displacement input at the time of branching of the track.

The material of the hood 1 shown in the figure is made of an elastic material so that it can follow the relative movement between the mountings of the running vehicle. Specific examples include a rubber material and a cloth-rubber composite. The thickness of the elastic body is also selected from the rigidity at the time of high-speed running and the followability to the relative movement between vehicle attachments. For example, in the case of a rubber material, a thickness of about 5 mm can be suitably used.

In the present invention, a smoothing member 8 for covering and smoothing the concave portion is screwed into a concave portion formed at the corner of the vehicle mounting end of the air chamber 4, and a means such as an adhesive is used. Provided by The smoothing member 8 has a shape suitable for smoothing by covering the concave portion, and can be made of metal or the like. To absorb the deformation of the concave portion accompanying the large displacement absorption of the main body of the top 1, use a sponge. It is preferable to fill the recessed region with a similar material or an elastic body equivalent thereto, for example, a sponge-like rubber. By providing the smoothing member 8 in the concave portion formed at the corner of the vehicle mounting end of the air chamber 4, noise generated at high speed can be further reduced.
