Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment method of an elastomer pipe by which the diameter of the elastomer pipe can be expanded and held stably, without deformation of a core member. SOLUTION: A belt-shaped molded element 11 has a 1st mating part on its one surface along its one side part and a 2nd mating part on its other surface along its other side part. The belt-shaped molded element 11 is wound into a spiral form, and the 2nd mating part is engaged with the 1st mating part so as to have the 2nd engaging part upon the 1st mating part to form a cylindrical core member. An elastomer pipe whose diameter is expanded is put on the cylindrical core member to obtain an elastomer pipe with a built-in core member. The elastomer pipe with a built-in core member is put on a covered object whose diameter is smaller than the inner diameter of the cylindrical core member so as to have the 1st mating part on the leading side of the progressing direction of the spiral. The end part of the belt-shaped molded element, of which the leading end part of the spiral of the cylindrical core member is composed, is successively pulled to unfasten the spiral, and the core member is removed from the elastomer pipe with the built-in core member for applying elastomer pipe directly to the circumference of the covered object.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, an elastomeric tubular body is attached to a terminal connection or a straight connection of a power cable for insulation, airtightness, and mechanical protection. Attachment of the elastomer tubular body to the adherend is performed by covering the expanded elastomer tubular body with a core member for increasing the diameter, holding the elastomer tubular body in the expanded state, and then placing the core member on the adherend. And finally by removing the core member.

As shown in FIG. 6, a core member for expanding the diameter is formed by joining a band-shaped molded body 1 having a cross section having a front fitting portion 2 and a rear fitting portion 3 to a front portion as shown in FIG. A cylindrical body 4 is formed by meshing the mating portion 2 and the rear fitting portion 3 and spirally winding in the direction of arrow A. This tubular body 4 is stored in a state where the expanded elastomer tubular body is covered on the outer periphery, that is, as an elastomer tubular body with a built-in core member,
Transported and ready for use.

The removal of the cylindrical body 4 constituting the core member for maintaining the diameter from the elastomer tubular body is performed as shown in FIG. That is, the band-shaped molded body 1 at the end of the cylindrical body 4 is moved from the gap between the cylindrical body 4 and the adherend (not shown) by an arrow B.
This is done by unwinding by pulling while rewinding in the direction of. In FIG. 8, reference numeral 31 denotes an elastomer tubular body.

However, as shown in FIG. 7, such a conventional core member for maintaining a large diameter is engaged at the front end in the mounting direction by a contraction force of an elastomer tubular body from the periphery. There is a problem that the alignment is naturally released. In particular, as shown in FIG. 9, when the diameter of the elastomer tubular body 5 is enlarged from the middle, the contraction force of the elastomer tubular body 5 acts strongly on the enlarged diameter portion, and the core member 4 is collapsed.

[0006] For example, in the case where a conductor connection terminal is integrated with an elastomer tubular body at a terminal connection portion of a cable, a core member having a different diameter may be used. Since it is not possible to pull out to the terminal side, it is necessary to pull out to the cable sheath side, but at this time, the core member is easily deformed at the tapered portion having a different diameter, and particularly when the taper is large, the core member itself is configured I can't do that.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a first fitting portion on one main surface of one side end and a first fitting portion on the other main surface of the other side end. The belt-shaped molded body having the two fitting portions is fitted into the first fitting portion so that the second fitting portion is overlapped with the second fitting portion, and is formed into a spiral shape. A step of mounting an expanded elastomeric tubular body around a wound cylindrical core member to form an elastomeric tubular body containing a core member, and attaching the elastomeric tubular body containing a core member to the first fitting portion. Is formed around an adherend having a diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the tubular core member so that the spiral comes forward in the traveling direction of the spiral. Pull back while rewinding the end of the body,
Removing the core member from the core-containing elastomeric tubular body by successively unwinding, and attaching the elastomeric tubular body around the adherend.

As shown in FIG. 8, the removal of the core member 14 from the elastomeric tubular body is performed by removing the band-shaped molded body 11 at the front end of the core member 14 from the gap between the core member 14 and the adherend. This is done by unwinding by pulling while rewinding in the direction B. At this time, at the front end of the core member 14, as shown in FIG. 3, the downwardly-facing rear fitting portion 13 of the last turn and the upwardly-facing front fitting portion 12 of the immediately preceding turn are formed in a belt shape. The end of the molded body 11 is meshed in a shape that is difficult to unravel.

1. A belt-shaped molded body having a first fitting portion on one main surface of one side end and a second fitting portion on the other main surface of the other side end, respectively. The second fitting portion is fitted to the first fitting portion so that the second fitting portion overlaps with the first fitting portion, and the diameter is expanded around a cylindrical core member wound in a spiral shape. Forming an elastomeric tubular body containing a core member by attaching the elastomeric tubular body to the cylindrical core so that the first fitting portion comes forward in the traveling direction of the spiral. A step of covering around an adherend having a diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the member, pulling while rewinding the end of the band-shaped molded body constituting the forward end of the spiral of the tubular core member,
Removing the core member from the core member-containing elastomeric tubular body by sequentially unwinding, and attaching the elastomeric tubular body around the adherend.
