As the molding resin, various resins such as polypropylene resin and ABS have been used depending on the application. In addition, not only a single molded article that is simply molded, but also a large number of molded articles in which patterns and characters are formed on the surface by printing or other various methods to enhance the design property are used. In the case of a molded article having characters or patterns formed on the surface, the formed surface is often non-planar. In such a case, a so-called curved surface printing technique is used. For example, as technology to decorate the surface of the molded product after molding, octopus printing,
Alternatively, there is a hydraulic transfer method. Further, in the simultaneous painting technique of injection molding, characters, patterns, and the like can be provided on the surface of the molded article in one step at the same time as molding.

However, since the adhesion is inferior to other resins, the molded product is not suitable. It was difficult to provide letters and patterns on the surface. In general, polyolefin resins are soft and have low surface strength such as scratch resistance, and thus, a molded product alone cannot be used for applications requiring a hard surface. For this reason, polyolefin resin is used as the molding resin, but it is attempted to apply it to various uses by making the surface modified such as improving the surface strength or decorating the molded product. Have been done.

Molded articles made by this method can be surface-modified such as improving surface strength, but cannot be decorated with characters or patterns. Further, the molded article is a molded article obtained by applying a primer coating on the surface of the molded article after the molding, improving the adhesion, and decorating by a hydraulic transfer method. A molded article by this method can impart a picture or the like, but a letter or the like is easily distorted and is unsuitable. In addition, a primer coating and a top coating after transfer are required two coating steps, resulting in poor production efficiency and a high cost molded product. In addition, in the above and the above, it is also necessary to select a paint that can obtain good adhesion to the polyolefin resin. Alternatively, it is a molded product obtained by laminating a surface covering sheet such as a decorative sheet on the surface of a molded product at the same time as molding of a resin by simultaneous injection molding painting technology (injection molding simultaneous lamination method). In this case, if a surface-coated sheet in which a polyolefin resin sheet is laminated on the back side is used, the adhesion is improved and a molded article in which the surface-coated sheet is laminated can be obtained. However, a step of laminating a polyolefin resin sheet on the back side of the surface covering sheet is required, and the cost of the molded product is increased accordingly.
In addition, the presence of the polyolefin resin sheet in the surface-coated sheet increases the breaking strength at room temperature, and leaves a problem that cutting of the sheet becomes difficult when trimming an extra sheet that protrudes out of the product after lamination.

A chlorinated polyolefin resin layer in contact with the molded resin substrate is laminated, and a surface layer made of a thermoplastic resin layer is laminated thereon as the outermost layer directly or via another layer. As a result,
By the ethylene propylene rubber contained in the polyolefin resin of the molding resin substrate and the chlorinated polyolefin resin layer laminated in contact with the molding resin substrate, a molded article having a surface layer with good adhesion to the molding resin substrate is obtained. Further, in the above configuration, the surface layer made of the thermoplastic resin layer contains an acrylic resin, and a urethane resin layer in contact with the chlorinated polyolefin resin layer between the surface layer and the chlorinated polyolefin resin layer. In this case, the surface layer is a layer containing an acrylic resin, and the molded article has good adhesion of the surface layer. Since the surface layer is made of an acrylic resin, a molded article having excellent scratch resistance, transparency, weather resistance, and the like on the surface can be obtained.

In addition, a molded article having a configuration in which a surface covering sheet composed of at least two layers including a chlorinated polyolefin resin layer as a back surface layer was laminated on the molded resin substrate at the same time as molding of the molded resin substrate. In this manner, by forming the surface layer simultaneously with the molding of the molded article, the molded article can be formed into a molded article in which the surface layer having good adhesion is laminated on the molded resin substrate and which can be manufactured easily and at low cost. . In the above structure, the surface coating sheet may be made of a urethane which is in contact with the chlorinated polyolefin resin layer between the surface layer and the chlorinated polyolefin resin layer, wherein the surface layer comprising the thermoplastic resin layer contains an acrylic resin. By forming a molded article having a resin layer, the surface layer is a layer containing an acrylic resin, and the molded article has good adhesion to the surface layer. Also,
Since the surface layer is made of an acrylic resin, a molded article having excellent scratch resistance, transparency, weather resistance, and the like on the surface can be obtained.

せる方法である。The entire layer on the molded resin substrate may be formed by a coating method or the like on the molded resin substrate, but is prepared in advance as a surface covering sheet using the surface layer as a substrate sheet. Laminating the surface-coated sheet on a molded resin base material is preferable in that a coating step or the like is unnecessary and a desired molded product can be easily obtained. Moreover, it can be formed into a molded product decorated with patterns, characters, and the like that cannot be obtained by painting. The lamination may be performed by laminating the surface of the molded resin substrate after molding the molded resin substrate (for example, as described in JP-B-56-45768 and JP-B-60-58014). A so-called vacuum press, in which a surface coating sheet is opposed or placed on the surface with an adhesive therebetween, and the surface coating sheet is laminated on the surface of the molding resin substrate by a pressure difference due to vacuum suction from the molding resin substrate side. It is a lamination method).
However, such a method requires two steps, a forming step and a laminating step. However, if the surface covering sheet is laminated at the same time as the molding of the molded resin substrate, a molded product can be obtained in one step, and the molded product is preferable in terms of cost. In order to laminate a surface-coated sheet simultaneously with molding, a so-called simultaneous injection molding simultaneous laminating method in a so-called injection molding simultaneous painting method (Japanese Patent Publication No. 50-19132,
Reference may be made to JP-B-43-27488, etc.). That is, a method in which a surface-coated sheet is disposed between both male and female molds for injection molding, a molten resin is injected and filled into the mold, and a surface-coated sheet is adhered and laminated on the surface of the molded product simultaneously with molding.

As the polyolefin resin, for example, polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene, polymethylpentene, ethylene-
A propylene-butene copolymer may be used. The ethylene propylene rubber is a rubber (EPR) composed of an ethylene-propylene copolymer, and is an amorphous random copolymer. Further, in addition to the pure ethylene-propylene copolymer, ethylene is a terpolymer using ethylene and propylene as main monomers and a small amount of diene such as ethylidene norbornene as a third monomer. -Propylene-diene terpolymer (EPD
M) can also be used. In these, the weight ratio of ethylene to propylene is about 80:20 to 20:80. These ethylene propylene rubbers are added in an amount of 1 to 40 parts by weight, more preferably 5 to 30 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the polyolefin resin.
If the amount is less than 1 part by weight, the effect of improving adhesion cannot be obtained, and in order to sufficiently obtain the effect of improving adhesion, 5 parts by weight or more is preferable. On the other hand, if the amount exceeds 40 parts by weight, the cost becomes high, and the molded resin substrate itself becomes soft and poor in rigidity. Therefore, the addition amount is more preferably 30 parts by weight or less from the viewpoint of cost and rigidity. In the resin serving as the molding resin base material, as necessary, silica, alumina, calcium carbonate, inorganic powders such as aluminum hydroxide, fillers such as glass fibers, coloring agents such as pigments and dyes, Various known additives such as an agent and a lubricant are contained.

By chlorinating the polyolefin resin, it becomes soluble in a solvent, and a layer can be formed by printing or coating as an ink or a coating liquid. The chlorinated polyolefin has good adhesion with the polyolefin resin, and also has good adhesion with other resins such as an acrylic resin. If the thickness of the layer is about 0.5 to 5 g / m 2 (solid content) in terms of the coating amount, the effect of improving adhesion can be obtained.

In the case of molding with a surface-coated sheet, the surface layer is a layer that becomes a base sheet of the sheet. By forming the surface layer as a thermoplastic resin layer, even when formed from a surface-coated sheet, the sheet can be provided with moldability, and the sheet can be formed not only on a flat surface but also on an uneven surface, and the surface can be formed on a molded resin base material. A layer or the like can be formed. In the case where the surface layer is intended to modify the surface of a molded resin substrate using a polyolefin resin, the gist of the present invention is to use a non-polyolefin resin. But,
If surface modification is not required and decoration with characters or patterns is intended, a polyolefin resin may be used, which is rather preferable from the viewpoint of adhesion to a molding resin substrate. In the case of forming with a surface covering sheet, even if the resin cannot be formed by printing (or coating) of ink (or coating liquid) like the polyolefin resin, the resin can be formed with the surface covering sheet.

The prepolymer is usually a polyisocyanate prepolymer having one or more isocyanate groups at both molecular terminals, and is a solid thermoplastic resin at normal temperature. Isocyanate groups react with each other due to moisture in the air to cause a chain extension reaction, and as a result, a reactant having a urea bond in a molecular chain is generated,
The urea bond further reacts with the isocyanate group at the molecular terminal, causing a biuret bond and branching to cause a crosslinking reaction. Although the skeleton structure of the molecular chain of the prepolymer having an isocyanate group at the molecular terminal is arbitrary, specific examples include a polyurethane skeleton having a urethane bond, a polyester skeleton having an ester bond, and a polybutazine skeleton.
One or more of these skeletal structures are appropriately employed. When a urethane bond is present in the molecular chain, the terminal isocyanate group is also opposite to the urethane bond, so that an allophanate bond is generated, and a cross-linking reaction is also caused by the allophanate bond.

What is necessary is just to use the surface coating sheet of a two-layer structure. The thermoplastic resin layer of the surface layer 3 becomes a base sheet. Then, the surface covering sheet may be laminated on the molded resin substrate in such a direction that the chlorinated polyolefin resin layer 2 side as the back layer contacts the molded resin substrate 1.
Further, for the molded article M illustrated in FIG. 2, a surface coating sheet having a three-layer structure in which the surface layer 3 is used as a base sheet and a urethane resin layer 4 and a chlorinated polyolefin resin layer 2 are sequentially laminated thereon. Should be used. Then, for the molded article M illustrated in FIG. 3, the surface layer 3 is used as a base sheet,

When a pattern is formed with a decorative layer, it may be formed by a known printing method such as gravure printing, gravure offset printing, or the like. In the case where the decorative layer does not form a pattern but is a solid layer, the chlorinated polyolefin resin layer and the urethane resin layer may be formed by a printing method or a known coating method such as gravure coating.

Therefore, the surface covering sheet can be said to be a decorative sheet in such a case or when there is a decorative layer. For example, in the case of the molded article M illustrated in FIG. 2, there is no decorative layer 5 but the surface layer 3 is decorated by coloring. Of course, in the molded article of FIG. 2, the surface layer may be a layer which is not colored and is not only for the purpose of decoration but only for the purpose of surface modification such as improvement of scratch resistance.

Using a pair of molding dies of the mold B also serving as the preliminary molding dies, the surface coating sheet S is fixed to the mold B by pressing it with a frame-shaped clamp (not shown) in the mold opened state. Next, as shown in FIG. 4B, the surface-coated sheet is heated and softened by the heater 12 (here, an example of non-contact radiation heating, but contact heating may be used). Then, as shown in FIG. 4 (C), suction molding is performed through suction holes and vacuum forming is performed, and the surface coating sheet is preformed along the cavity surface of the mold B. In addition, vacuum forming may be vacuum press forming using both pressure and air, and this is also included.
Then, both molds are clamped as shown in FIG.
The cavity formed by both molds is filled with a liquid resin in a molten state by heating. Then, after the resin is solidified, the mold is opened, the molded product is taken out, and if there is an unnecessary portion of the surface covering sheet, trimming is appropriately performed. As a result, the surface covering sheet S is laminated on the molded resin substrate 1 as shown in FIG. In this manner, the molded article M of the present invention is obtained.

There are things. In addition, if the surface to be laminated is a flat surface or a quadric surface, lamination may be performed without sheet molding. In this case, after fixing the surface covering sheet to the portion of the cavity surface to be laminated by static electricity or the like, the mold clamping resin may be injected. In addition, the term “injection molding” as used in the present invention refers to not only injection of “thermoplastic thermoplastic resin” used in general injection molding, but also “injection of thermosetting or two-component reaction-curing resin in a molten state at room temperature. Injecting a “cured product” is also included.

構成は、図3の成形品Mで示す。(Molding) First, in the mold open state,
The surface-coated sheet was fixed on a parting surface of a female mold having a suction hole on the mold surface, also serving as a vacuum forming mold in the mold. The sheet was fixed by pressing against the parting surface with a sheet clamp, which is a frame-shaped frame, at the outer peripheral portion of the female mold cavity. Thereafter, the ceramic panel heater having a surface temperature of 330 ° C. is advanced between the male and female molds from the retreat position outside the mold, and the surface coating sheet is heated and softened by non-contact radiant heating. Molding was carried out so that the surface-coated sheet was along the cavity surface of the female mold, and the preforming of the sheet was completed. Thereafter, the heater is retracted to the outside of the mold, both molds are clamped, and the injection resin heated and melted is injected into a cavity formed by both molds. After the resin is cooled and solidified, the mold is opened. The molded product on which the surface covering sheet was laminated was taken out as the molded product of the present invention. The layer structure of the molded product is shown by a molded product M in FIG.

Adhesion was measured by applying a cellophane adhesive tape (Nichiban Co., Ltd., “Cellotape” (registered trademark) 24 mm width, industrial use) to the surface of the molded product at 25 ° C. The evaluation was made based on whether the surface-coated sheet was peeled off together with the tape. As a result, the surface-coated sheet was peeled off in the comparative example, but was not peeled off in the example, and the adhesion was good. The molded product was decorated with a wood grain pattern, and the surface was made of an acrylic resin, so that the surface had a coating feeling with good transparency, and the scratch resistance was improved and the surface modification effect was sufficiently obtained.
