Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover foreign matter such as coins or the like moved to the bottom of a spinning tub in a recessed part so as to prevent the occurrence of a rotational error of a rotary blade by forming a recessed part for storing foreign matter from washing in the periphery of the rotary blade at the bottom of the spinning tub. SOLUTION: Plural foreign matter storing recessed parts 12 are provided at suitable spaces in the periphery of a rotary blade 3 at the bottom of a spinning tub 4. The recessed parts 12 are formed circular in a plane view, the area of the plane is a little larger than that of the coin, and small circular holes are bored in suitable places of its bottom 12a to be served as drain holes 13. Thus, when foreign matter such as coins or the like put out from washing in the washing process and in the rinsing process is moved to the bottom of the spinning tub 4 by a water stream produced by the rotation of the rotary blade 3, it can be recovered in the recessed parts 12, so that the coins or the like can be kept from entering a gap between the rotary blade 3 and the bottom of the spinning tub 4 so as to prevent a rotational error of the rotary blade 3.

Therefore, coins and the like do not enter the gap between the rotor and the bottom of the washing and dewatering tub, and the rotation error of the rotor can be prevented. In addition, since the recess is provided with a drain hole, water can be prevented from accumulating in the recess during the dewatering process.

Secondly, since the concave portion for accommodating foreign matter has the bottom surface formed in the upper and lower steps, foreign matter such as coins is horizontally accommodated in the concave portion. Since a gap is formed between the first and second portions, if the coin is pushed from above in the lower direction, the coin is inclined and the end protrudes upward from the concave portion. Therefore, if this protruding portion is pinched with a fingertip, it can be easily taken out from the concave portion.

Thirdly, the concave portion for accommodating foreign matter has a bottom surface formed into a horizontal portion and a downward inclined portion connected to the horizontal portion, so that foreign matter such as coins is horizontally accommodated in the concave portion and is formed on a horizontal surface. Even if the rider comes in close contact, a gap is formed between the coin and the inclined surface. Therefore, if the coin is pressed from above in the direction of the inclined surface, the coin is inclined and the end protrudes upward from the concave portion. Therefore, if this protruding portion is pinched with a fingertip, it can be easily taken out from the concave portion.

Fourthly, by forming a finger recess at a position lower than the bottom of the recess in connection with the recess for accommodating foreign matter, the bottom of the recess has a flat surface to which the coin comes into close contact. Even if the coins are stored, if a fingertip is inserted into a recess for finger insertion at a position lower than here, the coin can be easily pulled up from below with the fingertips.

Fifth, the drainage hole is formed near the side wall of the concave portion, and is formed below the drainage hole so as to face the drainage hole and to have a planar shape corresponding to the planar shape of the drainage hole. By providing the protruding portion, even if a thin foreign matter such as a needle or a pin is to be discharged from the drain hole, it hits the protruding portion that is protruding below it and can be prevented from being locked there and discharged.

Eighth, by providing a projection for preventing the foreign matter contained in the recess from jumping out on the side of the side wall of the washing and dewatering tub at the upper opening edge of the recess for accommodating the foreign matter, the recess can be easily washed and rinsed. It is possible to prevent the foreign matter stored in the washing machine from jumping out due to centrifugal force during the spin-drying process, and to prevent the jumping-out coins from hitting the inner wall of the washing and spin-drying tub and generating noise.
