Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a motor from failing by a method wherein a motor driving part is set at a place without moisture, and a curtain of a bathroom or the like is connected with the motor driving part using a wire and a pulley. SOLUTION: A motor driving part 12 is disposed on a ceiling 3A of a room 3 with less moisture, which is adjacent to a bathroom 1 in order to avoid moisture in the bathroom 1, and a curtain 11 and the motor driving part 12 are connected using a pulley 13 and a wire 14. When the wire 14 is taken up by the motor driving part 12, the curtain 11 is folded and housed in a curtain box 4. In the meantime, when the wire 14 is discharged by the motor driving part 12, the curtain 11 is extended. Therefore, by this electrically operated curtain device 10, the opening/closing operation of the curtain 11 is performed by the motor driving part 12 which is disposed in the place which is not affected by the moisture of the bathroom 1, and there is no fear for the generation of failures of the motor clue to moisture.
