A movable member to which a seating seat is fixed, a compression coil spring, and a fixing member having watertight packing mounted on an outer peripheral portion thereof are provided on an inner peripheral portion of a guide cylinder of a two-port valve body having a valve seat. The solenoid is mounted on the outer periphery of the guide cylinder of the two-port valve main body, and one part of the substantially U-shaped solenoid yoke is externally fitted to the cutout of the outer surface of the guide cylinder of the two-port valve main body to fix the solenoid. In a direct-acting two-port solenoid valve to which an iron core and the solenoid are also fixed, a substantially snap-retainer-like guide cylinder holding groove is provided in the one piece of the yoke, and the one piece is formed in a circumferential direction from the groove. An approximately U-shaped solenoid yoke, wherein an alphabetical slit is provided therein.
