Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily confirm the presence/absence of the directional conformity of all printed matters by seeing the appearance under a state wherein the printed matters are being stacked by a method wherein at least on one edge of the printed matters comprising 4 cut leaf papers is provided with an identification mark for the identification of the direction of the printed matters. SOLUTION: When a private postcard 2 is multiple-face(4 faces)printed on a leaf paper 1 using a leaf paper printing machine, a plurality of postcards 2 which are printed on the leaf paper 1, are cut into each sheet of the postcard 2 after the completion of the printing, and are finished into a final shape. For this reason, as a mark, at four corner parts where cutting planned lines 4 on the four edges of respective postcards 2 cross with each other, i.e., at locations where actual lines in the longitudinal and lateral directions cross at a right angle at the four corner parts of the postcard 2, a cutting register 5 is printed. Also, on the cutting planned line 4 which corresponds with the bottom edge of the postcard 2 part printed on the leaf paper 1, an identification mark 7 is printed in a manner to cover the line at a location which is away from the central line. The printing of the identification mark 7 is preferably performed by using an ink containing a fluorescent substance.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when it is attempted to check whether or not all the printed materials are erroneously stacked in the same direction by placing the printed materials in a stacked state, the printed materials are usually stacked. By visually checking the printed display direction of the printed material located at the top of the stack, it is possible to judge the identity of the direction of the stacked printed materials, and to describe the direction and the contents of the printed material at the top of the stacked printed materials. The direction of the printed matter is checked by placing paper separately. However, in order to check whether or not all the printed materials are really stacked in the same direction, an inspection process is provided in the manufacturing process. Turn over one sheet at a time, visually check the direction of the printed content, check the identity of the direction of the stacked printed matter, or pick the corners of the stacked printed matter appropriately and pay By checking the identity of the printing directions printed and displayed on the corners of the printed materials, it is checked whether or not all the printed materials are stacked in the same direction.

However, in the conventional method for checking the direction, the visual confirmation of the print display direction of the printed matter positioned at the top of the stacked printed matters requires that the printed matter positioned in the middle of the stacked printed matters be located in the middle of the stacked printed matters. However, even if the printed matter of the opposite direction is interleaved, it cannot be checked. In the conventional inspection method of visually checking the directionality of the contents of all the stacked prints one by one, if the amount of the stacked prints is large, the print directions of those prints are checked one by one. It takes a lot of time and effort and is hard. Especially,
There are various manufacturing processes depending on the specifications of the printed material in each process until the printed material is finished into a final product, for example, in a printing process, a cutting process, a collating process, an inspection process, a post-processing process, and the like. In some cases, it may be necessary for an operator to carry and move the printed matter and transfer the printed matter to a work place in the next process. During that move,
When an operator lifts and transposes a predetermined number of printed materials by a predetermined number, the printed materials may be inadvertently turned upside down or upside-down in some of the reprinted printed materials. Then, there is a danger that the person in charge of the next process will carry out the work of the next process while a part of the stacked printed materials is in the opposite direction without knowing the fact.

Further, after the printing process of the printed matter is completed, there are cases where various types of customer data and information stored in a computer in advance are printed out on the surface of the printed matter by a printer to finish the final product. In this case, too, the operator must carry the printed matter from the printing machine, move it, and set it on the printer device after the printing process. There is a danger that the printed material will be set in the printer device in the wrong direction, and the printer device will print out the print layout in the opposite direction to the print layout printed on the front surface of the printed material, or print it out on the back surface. Sisters,
After the printed matter is delivered to the customer, it may become a complaint and an accident of reprinting may occur. Therefore, in order to prevent the above-mentioned accident, it is desired to find a method that can confirm the identity of the orientation of the stacked printed matter. The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and has as its object the purpose of observing the appearance of printed materials in a stacked state without turning over the printed materials one by one. It is an object of the present invention to provide a printed material capable of easily discriminating whether or not the orientation of the printed material is the same, a method of manufacturing the same, and a method of determining the direction.

The printing of the identification mark 7 may be performed by using an ink containing a fluorescent substance in addition to using the normal printing ink as described above. The ink containing the fluorescent substance is a fluorescent substance issued by irradiating ultraviolet light having a wavelength of 200 nm or more and 300 nm or less, or 300 n
Any ink containing a fluorescent substance that is issued by irradiating ultraviolet light having a wavelength of at least m and not more than 450 nm can be arbitrarily selected and used. In this case, if the ink of the identification mark 7 is an ink made of a colorless fluorescent pigment such as SPE-A (manufactured by Nemoto Special Chemical Co., Ltd.) so that the printing of the identification mark 7 is not recognized in the normal use of the printed matter. The identification mark 7 can be printed without hindering the design of the printed matter. In order to confirm the same direction of the printed matter when the identification mark 7 is printed with an ink containing a fluorescent substance, the side of the stacked printed matter is irradiated with an ultraviolet light irradiation device from 200 nm to 300 nm, or 300 nm or less.
Irradiation with ultraviolet light having a wavelength of not less than 450 nm and not more than 450 nm is performed.
Since the fluorescent substance emits light by this ultraviolet light irradiation, there is a portion that emits light only on one side of the stacked printed matter, and if there is no light emitting portion on the other side, the stacked printed matter is stacked. All of the prints will be placed in the same direction and stacked. In addition, when there is a light-emitting portion on two or more sides of the stacked printed matter, it can be determined that the stacked printed matter includes a printed matter placed in the opposite direction or upside down. Since the fluorescent substance emits ultraviolet light, there is an advantage that the fluorescent substance can be visually confirmed more easily than a general ink.

Next, in a cutting process, when the postcard 2 attached to the sheet 1 on multiple sides (four sides) is cut into individual postcards 2 by a cutting machine, a plurality of the sheets 1 are cut. Set the stacker on the cutting machine. Next, after aligning the cutting edge of the cutting machine with the cutting register mark 5 and the cutting lead line 6 printed on the uppermost sheet 1 stacked, a cutting processing operation is performed.
Then, the same cutting process is repeated around the four sides of postcard 2,
Cut and finished into postcard 2 separately. In this cutting step work, it is preferable to cut accurately on a cutting lead line 6 provided at the center in the width direction of the register mark line of each cutting register mark 5, but in an actual cutting processing work, it is preferable that the cutting lead line 6 be used.
There is a case where the cutting position is slightly shifted in the line width direction from the mark. However, by performing the cutting finish at least in the printing area in the line width direction of each cutting register mark 5, the above-described identification mark 7 can be obtained.
It is necessary to perform the cutting within the printing area of. Then, by cutting within the printing area of the identification mark 7, a little printing area of the identification mark 7 remains on the lower surface of the postcard 2, but when the cut postcard 2 is viewed from the side, as shown in FIG. Since the printing ink of the identification mark 7 has penetrated into the gaps between the fibrous fibers of the paper, which is the base material of the postcard 2, the printing ink 8 that has penetrated the base material of the postcard 2 by the length of the identification mark 7 is used. The presence can be visually confirmed from the side of the postcard 2.

Next, postcard 2 which is a printed matter whose direction can be determined
An example of checking the direction of all postcards 2 in the direction discrimination method in a state where a plurality of the postcards are stacked will be described with reference to FIGS. 5 and 6. FIG. 5 shows a state where all postcards 2 are aligned in the same direction when the postcards 2 which are printed materials whose directions can be determined are stacked. That is, when the stacked postcards 2 are viewed from the side, the permeation portions of the printing ink 8 of the identification marks 7 that have permeated the base material of the postcards 2 are arranged in parallel on one side surface of the stacked postcards 2. Can be visually confirmed.
In this case, the directions of the stacked postcards 2 are all aligned in the same direction. Also, if the postcard 2 with the upside-down direction is present in the layer of the stacked postcards 2, as shown in FIG.
It can be visually confirmed that there is a portion 9 where the printing ink 8 has no hue in only the portion of the postcard 2 where the top and bottom directions are reversed, in the portion where the printing ink 8 has permeated the base material of the identification mark 7.

In this case, as a method of re-checking for the presence of the postcard 2 whose upside-down direction is reversed, the printing ink penetrated into the base material can be seen on the other side of the stacked postcard 2 by looking at the other side. If the hue of 8 appears, it can be reconfirmed that the postcard 2 with the upside down direction is present in the stacked postcards 2. Therefore, if all the hues of the printing ink 8 permeating the base material of the identification mark 7 appearing on the side surface side of the stacked postcards 2 appear on only one side, all the stacked postcards 2 have the same top and bottom direction. If the hue of the printing ink 8 that has penetrated into the base material of the identification mark 7 appears on two or more side surfaces of the stacked postcards 2, the postcards 2 having the upside down orientation are included in the stacked postcards 2. It can be determined that it exists. In this case, the direction of the postcard 2 is rearranged so that all the hues of the printing ink 8 that have permeated the base material of the identification mark 7 appear only on one side.
Up and down direction can be corrected. In addition, when the printed material has a rectangular shape such as postcard 2, even if postcard 2 is mistakenly stacked in a horizontal orientation of 90 ° in the up and down direction, it can be immediately recognized because a protrusion can appear on the appearance, but if the printed material is square, However, even if the printed materials are erroneously stacked in a horizontal orientation of 90 degrees in the vertical direction, it is not possible to judge from the appearance shape when the printed materials are stacked. By checking for the presence or absence of the hue of the printing ink 8 that has penetrated into the material, it is possible to confirm whether or not the stacked printed matter is turned upside down or sideways. The case where the top and bottom directions are overlapped has been described above. However, as shown in FIG. 2, the identification mark 7 is provided at a position deviated from the center line of the printed matter, that is, at a position that is not line-symmetric or point-symmetric. Thus, when the front and back are turned upside down, it can be similarly identified. Further, in the case where a plurality of identification marks 7 are provided, the identification marks 7 should not be line-symmetric or point-symmetric so that the printed matter can be recognized when the direction of the printed matter is reversed. It is necessary to provide the same position when rotated by degrees.

As described above in detail, according to the present invention, the printed matter capable of discriminating the direction, the method of manufacturing the same, and the method of discriminating the direction of the printed matter according to the present invention, have the wrong direction of the printed matter positioned in the middle of the stacked printed matters. Even if placed on the side, the identity of the direction can be checked by observing the appearance of the side of the stacked printed matter.Especially, even if the amount of the stacked printed matter is large, it is not necessary to check the printed matter one by one and check it. However, there is an effect that it is possible to easily and quickly check the identity of all printed materials in a state where printed materials are stacked. Also, in the manufacturing process until the printed product is finished to the final product, every time an operator carries the printed material, moves it to the next process location, and reloads it, the identification mark that permeated the base material from the side of the stacked printed material each time Just check the presence or absence of the hue of the printing ink 8 of 7,
It is easy and quick to check that all the stacked prints are aligned in the same direction. In addition, by printing the identification mark 7 using an ink containing a fluorescent substance, the appearance of the side of the stacked printed matter is checked by coloring the fluorescent substance by irradiating the ultraviolet light, thereby confirming the identity of the printed matter. Can be determined. Therefore, without knowing that there is a printed matter in the opposite direction or a horizontal direction in the stacked printed matter, a print output process on the printed matter surface in the next printer device is performed, and the print layout of the printed matter and the printer. It is possible to prevent an accident that the output print is printed in the opposite direction.
