Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the adsorptive force of offensive odor gas, ethylene gas, etc., by using an deodorizing carbon fiber being made by carbonating natural fibers or natural fiber flocks, for the fiber carbide of a combined deodorant and freshness keeper including porous charcoal. SOLUTION: Nonwoven fabric 2 envelops porous charcoal 3 and a carbon fiber 4 to constitute a combined deodorant and freshness keeper 1 for a refrigerator. Then, the carbon fiber 4 of the combined deodorant and freshness keeper 1 for a refrigerator is arranged in the roughly center of the nonwoven fabric 2 in such a form that it halves the porous charcoal 3, and a deodorizing carbon fiber, which is made by carbonating natural fiber flocks of cotton, wool, or the like at a low temperature of 270-300 deg.C in weak oxidizing atmosphere including oxygen of 1-10 wt.%, is used. Thus, the oxidation of food can be prevented, and also odor is removed, and further offensive odor gas such as basic offensive odor gas, acidic offensive odor gas, etc., can be removed powerfully even under the freezing point, so the taste and freshness of the food can be kept with the multiplication effect of the porous charcoal 3 and the carbon fiber 4.

2. Description of the Related Art Activated carbon obtained by activating charcoal, coal or the like with steam has been widely used as a deodorant for refrigerators. The activated carbon is an adsorbent having an internal specific surface area of 500 to 1500 m 2 / g, and prevents the taste of food from deteriorating by a deodorizing effect of adsorbing odor.

[0003] In particular, activated carbon made of charcoal is suitable for activated carbon for refrigerators because it can maintain the above-mentioned deodorizing effect for a long period of time and has a low impurity content and does not contain harmful substances (mercury, hexavalent chromium, arsenic, etc.). I have. In addition, the charcoal has been attracting particular attention in recent years, since it can be used as a soil modifying agent for preventing the increase of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and the acidification of forests due to acid rain even after being used as activated carbon.

However, since the deodorizing power of the activated carbon depends only on physical adsorption, it has an adsorbing power on basic malodorous gases such as amines and ammonia and acidic malodorous gases such as mercaptan and hydrogen sulfide. Is not sufficient, and the deodorizing power is remarkably reduced in an environment below the freezing point. Therefore, even if the activated carbon is installed in a freezing room, it is inevitable that an odor adheres to ice or the like.

That is, the present invention is a refrigerator deodorizing and freshness maintaining agent comprising porous charcoal and carbonized fiber, wherein the carbonized fiber is a deodorized carbonized fiber obtained by carbonizing natural fiber or natural fiber waste. It is characterized by. In such a deodorizing and freshness maintaining agent for refrigerators, the porous charcoal prevents the food from being oxidized (decayed) and adsorbs odor by an electron donating action, and in addition to this, the carbonized fiber has a basic malodor. Since gas and acidic malodorous gas such as malodorous gas are strongly adsorbed even below the freezing point, the taste and freshness of the food can be maintained in any of the vegetable room, the refrigerator room and the freezer room.

[0008] Here, the above-mentioned "electron donating action" refers to an action of collecting innumerable free electrons flying into the air in the refrigerator and replenishing the free electrons to the food, thereby preventing the food from being oxidized. The interior of the refrigerator is in a stable state where a magnetic field is generated.

[0010] In addition, as a storage case used when the deodorizing and freshness maintaining agent for a refrigerator is installed in the refrigerator, at least a part is provided with an opening, and twelve labels are cut along the periphery of the opening. It is preferable to use a storage case that is formed so as to be cut off or bendable and that the numbers of 1 to 12 are described in order from one end label on the surface of the 12 labels. By using such a storage case, when using the deodorizing and freshness maintaining agent for refrigerators, cut or bend the label describing the number of the month of starting use,
It can be used as an indication of the time for replacing the deodorizing and freshness maintaining agent for the refrigerator.

[0014] The porous charcoal 3 is a porous charcoal charcoal having an adsorption power about 5 times that of the activated charcoal before the activated charcoal by crushing the bincho charcoal and causing deterioration of the quality of vegetables and the like. Strongly adsorbs ethylene gas. Here, the Bincho charcoal is charcoal that uses Ubamegashi (fagaceae) as a charcoal material. When extinguishing with elementary ash (extinguishing) after refining, the outside is covered with ash and becomes white, so it is generally called “white ash” It has an internal specific surface area of about 300 m 2 / g and shows an alkaline pH of 8 to 9 and contains a large amount of minerals in 1 to 3% of ash, which is effective in purifying water and air and reforming acidic soil. Therefore, in 1986, it was designated as a "Soil Improvement Material" by a government ordinance.

The carbonized fiber 4 is obtained by carbonizing natural fiber waste such as cotton and wool at 270 to 300 ° C. in a weakly oxidizing atmosphere containing 1 to 10% by weight of oxygen at a low temperature.
Various functional groups formed on the carbonized fiber 4 chemically react with various harmful gases to remove the harmful gases from the inside of the storage. Since the gas is chemically adsorbed as described above, the carbonized fiber 4 has a deodorizing power of about 20 times that of the conventional deodorant, and includes a basic malodorous gas such as amine and ammonia, mercaptan, hydrogen sulfide and the like. It is characterized by strongly adsorbing even acidic odor gases. Further, even if the adsorptive power is reduced, it can be easily regenerated by drying or heating on the sun. The temperature at which the natural fiber is carbonized is not limited to the above-described range, but is desirably set appropriately according to the thickness of the natural fiber.
