2. Description of the Related Art As shown in FIG.
A stack 2 and a side plate 3 having a shape along the outer shape are provided, and the side plate 3 is adhered to an outer peripheral surface of the stack 2 so that the two are integrated with each other (hereinafter, the integrated product). The lift 2 and the side plate 3 are referred to as “stacked / side plate structure 1”). The stacking / side plate structure 1 supports and supports a strut or a soundboard (both not shown) at a portion of the stacking 2 and cooperates with a frame or the like to form a large string (both not shown). It plays a very important role in a grand piano, such as supporting tension.

However, in the conventional stacking / side plate structure 1 described above, before the side plate 3 is bonded to the stack 2, the outer peripheral surface of the former 2 matches the inner peripheral surface of the latter. Despite the shaping, a gap G is often seen between the stack 2 and the side plate 3 in a state where the frame is attached or the strings are stretched thereafter.
Such a gap G is particularly likely to occur at both ends in the vertical direction of the stacking 2 as shown in FIG. 3 and at a portion where the curvature is large in the circumferential direction (A portion or B portion in FIG. 2). This is because the string tension applied after the assembling of the stacking / side plate structure 1 acts on the stacking 2 from the inside via the struts or the like, and causes the stacking 2 to flex outwardly, This is because the influence of torsion or warpage of the lift 2 tends to appear in a portion having a large curvature. In particular, the gap G generated between the upper end of the stack 2 and the side plate 3 becomes visible when the large roof (not shown) is opened, impairing the appearance of the piano and reducing its commercial value.

FIG. 4 shows two conventional methods for addressing such a drawback. (A) of FIG.
The gaps are made inconspicuous by forming in advance notches 11, 11 that are continuous in the circumferential direction at the outer upper and lower ends. Also, FIG. 2B shows that the circumferential direction is continuous.
By attaching a band-shaped cloth cover 12 of the same color as the soundboard or the like to the outer side of the upper surface of the stack 2 by nailing or the like, the cloth cover 12 hides the gap G and also serves as decoration. However, in the method (a), the gap is merely a camouflage, and the notch 11 appears as a continuous gap along the circumferential direction between the stacking 2 and the side plate 3, thereby improving the appearance of the piano. It cannot be maintained, and has not been a fundamental solution to prevent the generation of gaps. Further, the method (b) is the same as the method (a) in that a gap is allowed, and requires extra costs such as a material cost and a mounting cost of the cloth cover 12.

According to this manufacturing method, first, a side plate having an outer peripheral shape matching the outer peripheral shape of the grand piano and a stack having an outer peripheral shape almost matching the inner peripheral shape of the side plate are prepared. Next, a concave portion is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the stacking. The recess is formed so as to extend in the vertical direction of the outer peripheral surface of the stack and to be continuous in the circumferential direction. Thereafter, the stacking / side plate structure is manufactured by bonding the inner peripheral surface of the side plate to the outer peripheral surface of the stack having such a concave portion.

As described above, according to the present invention, since the above-mentioned concave portion is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the unloading before the unification of the unloading and the side plate, the unloading is performed by the tension of the string stretched later. Even if it bends and deforms outward convexly, or if twisting or warping occurs in the stacking, such a bending deformation is absorbed by the concave portion, so that the upper and lower ends of the outer peripheral surface of the stacking and the inner side of the side plate are formed. Since the state where the peripheral surfaces are in contact with each other can be reliably maintained, it is possible to reliably prevent a gap from being generated between the two. As a result, the appearance of the piano when the large roof is opened can be improved.

In a general manufacturing process of a grand piano,
It is common practice to shape the outer peripheral surface of the stack by moving a cutting means such as a moulder along the outer peripheral surface of the stack before bonding the side plates to the stack. Therefore, in the manufacturing method of the present invention, in such a normal manufacturing process, the recess can be formed only by changing the shape of the cutting surface of the cutting means, and the gap can be formed very easily and without increasing the cost. Can be prevented.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a method for manufacturing a stacked / side plate structure 1 to which the present invention is applied.
As shown in FIG. 1A, in this manufacturing method, first, the loading 2 and the side plate 3 are separately prepared (loading preparation step and side plate preparation step). In this case, the side plate 3 is formed by laminating a plurality of slender wooden veneers in the same manner as the conventional side plate.
The bonded laminated plate is inserted between molds having a predetermined shape of a press molding machine, and is pressed to be formed by bending so that the outer peripheral shape matches the outer peripheral shape of the grand piano (see FIG. 2). Is done. Similarly, loading 2
Is formed by, for example, bending a laminated board in which a plurality of wooden veneers are laminated and bonded by a press molding machine so that the outer peripheral shape substantially matches the inner peripheral shape of the side plate 3.

Next, after mounting a strut, a soundboard (both not shown), etc. on the loading 2, as shown in FIG.
By moving the blade 4 of a moulder (NC cutting machine) having a blade tip surface of a predetermined shape along the outer peripheral surface 2a of the stack 2 and the outer peripheral surface of the soundboard, the outer peripheral surface 2a of the stack 2 is shown in FIG. The concave portion 5 as shown in c) is continuously formed in the circumferential direction (recess forming step). The recess 5 is provided on the outer peripheral surface 2 a of the stack 2.
Over the entire vertical direction, leaving only the upper and lower ends of
And it is formed vertically symmetrically with respect to the center.
Further, the concave portion 5 is formed to be very gently curved so that the depth D of the deepest central portion becomes a minute predetermined value, and is exaggerated in FIG. Have been.

Next, as shown in FIG.
The stacking / side plate structure 1 is completed by bonding the inner circumferential surface 3a of the side plate 3 to the outer circumferential surface 2a of the base member (bonding step). Thereafter, a frame or the like is attached to the upper surface of the stack 2 via a soundboard, and a string (neither is shown) is stretched over the frame or the like.

FIG. 1 (e) shows a state of the stacking / side plate structure 1 after the completion of such string stretching.
In other words, in this state, the concave portion 5 is reduced in size as a result of the loading 2 being flexed outwardly convexly by the tension of the string, and the side plate 3 is immediately bonded to the loading 2 (d). ), The state where the upper and lower ends of the outer peripheral surface 2a of the stack 2 are in contact with the inner peripheral surface 3a of the side plate 3 is continuously maintained.
The contact area between the two 2a and 3a is enlarged as compared with the state shown in FIG.

As described above, according to the stacking / side plate structure 1 of the present embodiment, after the stacking 2 and the side plate 3 are bonded, the stacking / side plate structure 1 is formed.
Is deformed outwardly convex due to the tension of the strings, or even if twisting or warping occurs in the stack 2, such bending or the like is caused by the concave portion 5 formed in advance on the outer peripheral surface 2 a of the stack 2. By absorbing, the state where the upper and lower end portions of the outer peripheral surface 2a of the stack 2 are in contact with the inner peripheral surface 3a of the side plate 3 can be reliably maintained, that is, the gap between the two 2 and 3 is reliably prevented. be able to. As a result, the appearance of the piano when the large roof is opened can be improved.

Further, as described above, the contact area between the stack 2 and the side plate 3 is enlarged by the bending deformation of the stack 2 due to the tension of the strings, so that the required bonding area between the stack 2 and the side plate 3 and therefore the adhesive strength Is ensured, the supporting force of the stacking / side plate structure 1 can be sufficiently ensured. From such a viewpoint, the depth D of the concave portion 5 is set to a minimum value, for example, the adhesion between the stack 2 and the side plate 3 within a range in which the deformation of the stack 2 can be absorbed and the gap can be reliably prevented. The area is at least 6
It is preferable to set the value to a value that is relatively small.

In this embodiment, the formation of the recess 5 is
Stack the blade 4 such as a moulder having a blade edge surface of a predetermined shape 2
By moving it along the outer peripheral surface of the device. Such a moulding is usually performed in a general manufacturing process of a grand piano in order to shape the outer peripheral surface of the stack before bonding the side plate 3 to the stack 2. Therefore, according to the present embodiment, the recess 5 can be formed only by changing the blade of the molder to the blade 4 of a predetermined shape in such a normal manufacturing process, and the cost is increased very easily and very simply. Thus, it is possible to prevent the generation of the gap.

The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, but can be implemented in various modes.
For example, in the embodiment, the concave portion 5 is formed over substantially the entire vertical direction of the stacking 2; however, the length may be shortened as long as the generation of the gap can be prevented. By doing so, the supporting force of the stacking / side plate structure 1 can be further increased. In addition, the configuration of the details and the like can be appropriately changed without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
