Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very thin and small card-like portable telephone set without incompatibility in use compared to a former portable telephone set and to secure an antenna for electromagnetic wave transmission/reception. SOLUTION: A portable telephone body is stored in a very thin and small card-like casing. A microphone 14 or an earphone 11 is provided at a tip in the card. A wire 15 having rigidity for supporting them is stored. At the time of use, the microphone or the earphone is pulled out with the wire. When it is not used, the wire is stored in the card and the card-type portable telephone set giving the feeling of use, which is almost similar to the former one is realized. The antenna requiring the wire which is serving also the antenna is secured.

Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a portable telephone,
In particular, it relates to a small and ultra-thin mobile phone having a card size and a thickness of several millimeters. 2. Description of the Related Art With the advance of miniaturization technology of semiconductors and other electronic parts, portable telephones have become small enough to fit on the palm. With the advancement of semiconductor technology integration and battery miniaturization every year, further miniaturization technology will progress in the near future,
It is fully conceivable that the mobile phone itself will have a credit card size of several millimeters in thickness. However, even if it is technically possible, it is not always convenient to use small articles related to human size. Of course, it is convenient to carry, but at least as a phone feature,
Speaking is essential and must conform to the human ear and mouth in some way. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to realize an ultra-thin and small card-shaped mobile phone which does not give a feeling of strangeness in use with a conventional mobile phone while realizing a small mobile phone. In addition, since it is difficult to secure an antenna having sufficient capability with a small communication device, solving this point is one of the objects. According to the present invention, in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the portable telephone body is housed in an ultra-thin and small card-like housing, and has a microphone or an earphone at the tip and at least these. The structure is such that a wire having rigidity that can be supported can be stored in the card, the microphone or the earphone is pulled out together with the wire when used, and the wire is stored in the card when not used. With this configuration, the size of the credit card is too small to fit the mouth and ear when the earphone or microphone is placed on the card, but it is almost the same as the conventional one by stretching them together with the wire. I can give a feeling. Further, by using the wire as an antenna for transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves, the problem common to small communication devices can be solved. The card-type telephone body alone is short and does not reach the ears and mouth. However, according to the above configuration, the wire housed in the card-shaped housing is pulled out at the time of use to widen the distance between the earphone and the microphone. The mobile phone can be adapted to almost the human ear and mouth, and can be used without any inconvenience when used. Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. 1 shows the appearance of an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 1 (a) shows the appearance when not used, and FIG. 1 (b) shows the appearance when used. In FIG. 1, a card-type mobile phone 10 is housed in a card-like housing having a thickness of several millimeters, and numeral 11 denotes an earphone, numeral 12 denotes a liquid crystal display for display, numeral 13 denotes an input key, and numeral 14 denotes an input key.
Indicates a microphone, and number 15 indicates a wire.
The microphone 14 is held by a wire 15 and
Is held in the card as shown in the figure when not in use. FIG. 1 (b) shows the microphone 14 in use.
And a state in which the wire 15 is pulled out. The wire has an appropriate rigidity and can hold the shape at least with the weight of the microphone 14. In this state, the earphone 11 and the microphone 14 can be located near the ear and the mouth, respectively, so that even a small card-shaped mobile phone can be used with almost the same usability as before. The audio signal to the microphone 14 uses the wires 15 on both sides of the microphone 14 as signal lines, and the antenna for transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves also uses the wires 15. In this figure, the wires 15 are arranged so as to be housed on both sides of the card-shaped casing. However, this arrangement has the most influence on the arrangement of the semiconductor and other components housed in the card-shaped casing constituting the mobile phone. No position. Although the wire 15 is shown in a linear shape in FIG. 1B, the wire 15 having a certain elasticity may be plastically deformed and bend when the wire 15 is pulled out. Further, if the shape can be changed according to the contour of each user's face, the convenience is further increased. Therefore, it is easier to use the wire if it has some flexibility on the premise of shape stability. Next, the configuration of the card type portable telephone according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. In the figure, reference numeral 21 denotes an audio amplifier, and reference numeral 22 denotes a sound amplifier.
Denotes a control unit, 23 denotes a transmitting / receiving amplifier, 24 denotes a battery, 25 denotes a capacitor, and 26 denotes a coil. The electromagnetic wave is input to or output from the transmission / reception amplifier 23 via the antenna / wire 15 through the low frequency signal blocking capacitor 25. The audio signal is sent from the audio amplifier 21 to the coil 26 for cutting off the high-frequency signal and the wire 15.
Is connected to and transmitted to the earphone 11 or the microphone 14 via. The display unit 12 and the keys 13 are connected to the control unit 22, and are used for displaying a telephone number, displaying various states of the mobile phone, or inputting a telephone number and the like. The control unit 22 controls the overall operation. The functions of the control unit 22, the audio amplifier 21, the transmission / reception amplifier 23, and the like are exactly the same as those of the current mobile phone, and detailed description of the operation is omitted.
In addition to supporting the antenna, a condenser 25 or a coil 26 is additionally provided so as to be used as an antenna for transmitting sound or transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves. Since most of these electronic circuits are integrated circuits, it is only a matter of time before the main body can be housed in a card-like housing. Further, since sheet-shaped batteries have already appeared, there is a high possibility of realizing a card-shaped mobile phone. Only in the case of miniaturization, there is a concern that the usability may be impaired due to a problem on the man-machine interface, but this can be solved by the present invention. Further, it is important to secure an effective antenna for a very small-sized mobile phone. In this regard, a sufficiently large antenna can be secured by using the wire also as the antenna. The embodiment in which the microphone is added to the tip of the wire has been described above with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. A card-type mobile phone having the same operability can be realized by holding the earphone at the end of the wire. However, since it is obvious, the illustrated illustration is omitted as an embodiment. In view of the future of miniaturization, environmental conditions for realizing a card-shaped ultra-thin small-sized mobile phone will be established sooner or later. Concern about usability was solved by adding a microphone or earphone to the tip of the wire having appropriate rigidity and pulling it out at the time of use. In addition, antennas that are problematic in small devices have been solved by also using the wires. Thus, it is possible to realize an ultra-small mobile phone whose usage feel is not so different from the conventional one.
