Abstract

6と一体に形成する。鉄心4・5を構成するコア4・5
とボビン6はやや緩い結合状態である。このため、コア
4・5、特にボビン6内のコア4が不所望にズレ動き易
く、振動・騒音等の要因となる。この解決に前記加圧変
形部60を利用する。ケース7・8は下側のベース7と
上側のカバー8で構成されるが、これらをかしめる際の
カバー8の押圧力を加圧変形部60に伝え、内側のコア
4を拘束する。これによって、コア4の長手方向へのズ
レ動きを防止する。62は加圧変形部60に付属する突
部、64はその突部端である。21・22・23はかし
め用の金型である。かしめ圧は上下左右から加えられる
が、その圧力レベルは所要の磁気的特性ないしは電気的
特性ないしはとなるように加減される。

ように設定する。その関係で過剰圧となりがちである。
過剰圧であると、図6に示す通り、2個のボビン6の突
合せ部上方からの加圧によりボビン6、コア4とも逆へ
形に過剰に変形する。h’はコア4端面で測った過剰変
更寸法である。この場合は過剰に変形するコア4の端面
と変形のないコア5の端面が接合する。コア4を構成す
る鋼板の端面は斜めに接合する。その接合面積は接合の
如何によって大きく変化する。従来技術の放電灯安定器
に不所望な特性ばらつきが生じ、調整困難となることが
あるが、この弊害はコア4の前記態様の過剰変形に起因
する。本発明の目的は、特性ばらつきの少ないコアのズ
レ動き防止構造を提供することである。

割愛する。図1〜図3の放電灯安定器は、複数のコア4
・5を接合して磁路を形成する鉄心4・5を備える。該
鉄心4・5に組付けられた合成樹脂性のボビン6を備え
る。ボビン6に巻回されたコイル3を備える。以上の各
部材の全体を外側から締付けるケース7・8を備える。
ケース7・8の一部で押されて変形しコア4の一部を加
圧する加圧変形部60・61をボビン6の一部に該ボビ
ン6と一体に形成する。加圧変形部60・61の数は2
個であり、この2個をコア4の一部をその両側から加圧
するように配置する。鉄心4・5はボビン6を貫通する
I形のコア4とその両側に配置された一対のE形のコア
5とで構成される。ケース7・8は下側のベース7と上
側のカバー8とで構成される。ケース7・8は筒状を呈
するようにかしめられる。加圧変形部60・61にこれ
を変形させるための突部62・63が付属する。突部6
2・63はそれぞれベース8・カバー9の方向へ突出す
る形態である。その突出寸法は、突部62・63がそれ
ぞれベース8・カバー9に圧接して加圧変形部60・6
